After a year, nag update na rin ako sa wakas. Hehehe. I am awkwardly laughing in my head. I don't know if I still have readers out there for being MIA and I still can't promise if I'll be back for good. I am still picking the shattered pieces of my heart *chos joke lang. I mean brain from the floor. One thing for sure, I cannot easily give my passion up so tadaaa! Even after a year, I'll still update.

I am just done with work in my boutique when I decided to drink coffee. So I dropped off at the nearest coffee shop. Katext ko pa si Silver while I am ordering reminding him to take his medicine. When I got my order, umupo ako sa isang round table malapit sa glass wall ng coffee shop still got my attention on my phone.

Silver is asking me about my whereabouts and that he was going to fetch me. So I sent him the name of the coffee shop I am in and the exact location.

I took a sip of my coffee still my eyes lingered on my phone when someone sat in front of me. Muntik ko nang mabuga yung iniinom kong kape nang makita ko kung sino ang umupo doon. It was Scarlet. I think my face had drained all the blood on it.

"Hi Violet! Long time no see." She smiled. She gave me that genuine smile she always show when we're still bestfriends. The smile that made Silver fall for her. The smile Silver labeled as a charming smile.

"Uhmm. Hello. Well..." My phone beeped and I read Silver's text. He said he's on his way so I anxiously glanced at Scarlet. "Yeah... Long time no see and uhm... " I don't know what to say or even what to do. For God's sake we're not in good terms and Silver is on his way here.

"Musta na? I've heard nag patayo nanaman daw ng bagong branch yung boutique mo?" She talked normally like there's nothing wrong between us. Like Silver never happened and we were like those college friends back then.

I don't even know how she can react like that when her boyfriend lost all his memory of her and here I am taking her place. Is she even concerned at Silver's situation?

"Yeah. I mean... Yeah" I inhaled and exhaled. I need to compose myself. This is Scarlet. The girl I hated because she is loved by Silver. The very sole reason why Silver got an amnesia. The girl Silver should't meet or see now that I am playing her role.

I sat straight and looked her in the eye before I continued talking. "Why are you talking to me Scarlet? Not to be plastic but the last time I checked, we're not in good terms."

She just smiled. She just fucking smiled! And I want to tear that off her face because I really hate how radiant she can be when she smiles!

"I saw you a while ago and we're friends Violet. I know you have your very reason to be angry at me but I swear to God. I tried everything to preserve our friendship."

"So nagtry ka pa sa lagay ng pag agaw at paglandi mo kay Silver?" I raised an eyebrow. How dare her! She tried to preserve our friendship when she stole Silver from me? She knew from the very beginning that I am willing to sacrifice anything just to get Silver's attention. Alam na alam niya kung gaano ko kagusto si Silver.

"I am really sorry Violet. I made mistakes." she lowered her gaze and I felt a bit guilty. I don't know pero for a year after we break our friendship this is the longest conversation we made and she is saying sorry.

"I don't care what you've done Scarlet. What I want to know is what will you do? Did you even know that Silver got into an accident?" Bumibilis ang hininga ko. I don't know where is this conversation is going to lead me but I need to have answers.

"I know and I've never visited him because I am too guilty. I don't know how to face him, to face his family or even you. I am so guilty Violet." Her eyes starts to swell and I just want to smack her face. I know I am being too violent but her tears are not enough to compensate on what damage she had done. "Alam ko ring nagka amnesia siya and you are the one she thought as her girl. I think it's a blessing in disguise"

My breathe hitched. Is this the time she is going to get Silver back. I panicked. Hindi pa ako handa.

"Babawiin mo na ba siya?" Tears start to form in my eyes and my throat begun to dry. I feel like there's a big lump on it that it's getting hard for me to speak or to even breathe.

She shook her head slowly still keeping her gaze low. She began to sob.

"Violet, buntis ako." She said in a low voice pero dinig na dinig ko parin. Parang unti unting gumuho ang buong paligid ko ng marinig ko yun. Isa isa ding nagpatakan ang luhang kanina ko pa pinipigilan. This can't be happening. She can't be impregnated by Silver!

"Since w-when?" my voice broke. Napalunok ako pero ang sakit sa lalamunan so tried to cassualy take a sip of my coffee. I even took my handkerchief out of my bag and wiped my tears. Si Scarlet naman ay patuloy sa paghagulgol.

"I am so sorry Violet. I was so wrong. Naaksidente si Silver dahil saakin because I told him I am pregnant on our anniversary. It was my fault." she continued to cry.

"You should have atleast reached out after the accident." I said firmly even if my eyes won't stop from crying. Sabi na ngang hindi dapat ako pumayag sa plano nila Mamu. Mas masakit kasi. Tanggap ko naman dati but it hurts more kasi umusbong ang pag asa sa puso ko sa kaunting pagkakataon na magkasama kami ni Silver.

"I can't Violet." she shook her head again before she lifted it up to look me in the eyes. "Hindi si Silver ang ama ng bata."

"What do you mean hindi si Silver ang ama?"

"I... I cheated on him Violet. I know I was wrong but I felt out of love. I tried to break our relationship pero ayaw ni Silver."

Right after Scarlet uttered those words, I saw Silver enter the coffee shop. Nanlaki ang mata ko kaya sinundan ni Scarlet ang tingin ko. She immediately wiped her tears and looked back at me.

"I think I need to go. Hinihintay na rin ako ng fiance ko. I am truly sorry Violet." she then gave me that genuine smile as she stood up. I still want to ask her so many questions but Silver is walking towards us. No! They cannot still see each other. "And I wish you to be happy. Alagaan mo si Silver"

She hurriedly walked away and that's when I realized the baby bump on her tummy. Sinundan ko siya ng tingin and she walked to a table where a guy is seated. The guy I saw with her before.

"Baby, are you okay?" napabalik ang tingin ko kay Silver. He immediately sat beside me and cupped my face. "Why are you crying? Did that lady hurt you?"

I looked deep into his brown eyes and felt like I am drowning. It took me a few second before I smiled at him.

"I am okay Baby" and I am sorry too because I love you too much that I am willing to resort to deceiving you just to have you.
