"Isn't she your bestfriend?" Silver asked innocently as his eyes followed at Scarlet while she's heading out of the coffee shop with her fiance. It was so evident na alagang alaga noong lalaki si Scarlet. The way he holds her like a very frigile glass, mahahalata mo na doong mahal na mahal niya si Scarlet.

"Yeah. She's with her... " I trailed off. I know Silver doesn't know a thing as of now but it was still different talking to him about Scarlet. I am afraid to utter any wrong words that might provoke him from remembering things. "Fiance"

"She's getting married? Why did you cry? Did she tell something off? " He asked again looking straight into my eyes. I gulped. What lies am I going to tell him again?

"She said sorry" I said. And it was true. I am just going to ommit some details.

"Why? Ano bang pinag awayan niyo? You seem to act differently everytime she's around." Please Silver. Don't dig deeper. I cannot come up with anymore lies.

"Nothing. Just some quarell during college. I felt so exhausted Baby. Can we go home?" I looked straight back at him trying to divert the topic. His eyes went soft when I told him I am tired.

"We still have to eat dinner." He caressed my upper cheek with his right hand wiping the remaining tears I had in my eyes. People are already eyeing us but he doesn't seem to care.

"I just want to stay home Silver." I replied holding his right arm to put it down. And yes, I want to go home. After that conversation with Scarlet, all I want now is to lie in my bed and think.

"Alright then." Silver also guided me outside. I also brought my car which I wanted to drive but he insisted that I'll ride at his. Ipapasundo nalang namin sa driver ang kotse ko.

"Can you stay at my place tonight?" Silver asked when he was turning on the ignition. When he finally did, he looked at me, pleading. I wanted to melt by how he give me that soft and innocent look but all I want now is rest. I need to think.

"Silver... I want to rest." It's hard to resist Silver. So hard. But being with him won't help me this time.

"I will let you rest. I will cook for you." His right hand reached for my left face again. "I just want to be with you Baby. Please."

I felt like I am being hypnotized by his deep gaze so I had no choice but nod. Silver will be the death of me. I don't know what kind of sacrifice I won't do for him.

I remember when I first felt infatuated with him. We were still in grade school when someone is bullying me because I just lost my front tooth. Silver is there to fight for me punching the little boy who made me cry which made that boy loose his front tooth too. I just felt so proud of Silver that time that even if we both got scolded, I still see him admirable.

Silver is my knight in shining armor. My salvation. My weakness and strength. My everything.

"You're staring." He glanced at me while driving. I can see his lopsided grin as he turned his gaze to the road.

"Kinikilig ka naman." I teased when I felt my cheek heat. He caught me staring at him lost in my own thought of him.

"Who says?" He glanced at me once again with his full grin and an eyebrow raised.

Napanguso ako. Ako ata ang kinikilig. I just shook my head and looked outside the window. I felt Silver reach my left hand with his right hand. He held my hand while his left hand steadied on the steering wheel.

"Ayaw mo pa kasing aminin na kinikilig ka." I told him as I gripped his hand back.

"If I say I love you, would it mean na kinikilig ako? It's so gay Violet. I'll just say I love you."

"Corny ka rin pala." I laughed so he eyed me. "Just so you know, I'll say I love you too kasi kinikilig din ako. But of course, I don't find it so gay so yeah. I'll just say I love you too." I laughed hard at my statement.

When we got to his condo, I lost all my thought about Scarlet and I don't feel exhausted anymore. Silver did his promise though, he just sent me to his room while he did the cooking. I miss tasting his cooked food. When was the last time he also cooked for me? I can hardly remember.

I brushed off the thought. I am thinking negatively again. I just lied on Silver's bed wearing nothing but his shirt aside from my underwear. Wala kasi akong masuot. He just decided for me to stay here overnight.

Later on, I drifted to sleep. It was already dark when Silver attempted to wake me up. He showered me with kisses telling me that dinner is ready and my clothes are already delivered. Of course, he called at home again telling them I'll stay with him for a night. Mamu never contradicts. She even loves the idea.

"What if you just move in here Baby?" Silver asked out of no where when we are in the middle of eating.

"What do you mean move in here?" I know what he means but I want to tease Silver. He just always demands that we should always be together. I find it clingy but I find it more likely romantic and sweet. Napanguso ako when Silver looked at me seriously. Gusto niya talagang sa isang bubong kami tumira huh?

"Let's live together." He seriously uttered again. "It's more convenient, I don't have to fetch you all the time. We'll just go to work then go home together."

I giggled. "Silver, it's not that easy. We're not married." I shook my head smiling at my food. "You see, I am not a fan of live-in couples."

He stayed silent for a second so I looked up at him. He is still eyeing me seriosuly with his dark brown eyes. Is he angry that I don't want to live with him? Or did his memory returned? The latter made my heart beat a bit faster.

"Then we should get married Violet. As soon as possible."

And I almost choked at my food.
