Another Kankuro Love Story

chapter 5

After we ate Kankuro took me to my new home. This home was strange it had a kitchen a living room two bedrooms and two bathroom and a balcony. In which I was not used to because I have basically been on the run all my life.

After Kankuro left I just stayed in the house I didn't do anything just sat there. Then I decided to take a shower sense apparently I live here all by myself. It was kind of lonely but that is okay I don't mind being alone. All I knew is I miss Hana I hope she is okay.

~Time skip to a week later~

It's a week later and I have not even left my house. I don't even need to buy food because the place was fully stocked and a lady with blond hair tied into four buns brought me clothes six days ago so I don't need them anyway. My house was still lonely though. Maybe I should get a pet like a cat or something.

As I was sitting there thinking about if I should get a cat or something I heard a knock on the door. I thought I imagined it so I just went back to my thoughts. Then I heard it again.

I got up to go see who it was. It was Kankuro with the blond lady with buns. "Hello." I said "See Kankuro? Perfectly fine it was unnecessary to come and check on her." The blond said kind of snotty.

"Shut up Temari it didn't hurt to come and check." He said meanly back to her she just rolled her eyes.

"Anyway Akemi want to go on a mission with us?" Kankuro asked me. "Uh, sure why not who is all going?" "Gaara Temari and I." He said. "Hm, okay just let me get some traveling clothes on. You guys can come in for a minute if you want." They nodded and walked in eyes widening in shock.

"What did I do something?" I asked confused. "No it just looks like no one has lived here at all and you've been here a week." Kankuro answered. "Well my father would always get onto me and my sister if it looked like we had been some where so it's just a habit I guess. Also I don't really have anything to do so I just sit there and do nothing but breath."I said not lying this time.

"What a mean father." Temari said not even thinking about it. Then Kankuro elbowed her in the side."Ow what was that for?" She yelled at him then realization set in. She frowned slightly "I am so sorry I forgot what the Kazekage told me about your family." I just shook my head and smiled "He was always very abusive and would let his friends say pervy things to us. So I don't mind you saying that."

They just looked at each other. I walked off to get dressed for the journey we have to make.

When I came out Temari and Kankuro were silently talking on the couch. So I went to the kitchen to grab five bottles of water and salt then her someone behind me. I turned around to see Kankuro. "Why are you grabbing water and salt?" He asked with a confused face.

"Well if we are going somewhere that is solid rock I can't render my self helpless can I?" I asked honestly. "I thought you could just use that jutsu like you did on me." He stated "No I can't if it's solid rock and I can use water in basically anyway I want I'm just stronger if it's salt water." I said as I put the items in my bag.

"Okay. Listen" He said in a hushed tone walking over and bending slightly to get close to my face I blushed a little because I am not used to people in my face. "This is basically another test from the Kazekage to see if your loyally so be prepared. Also don't tell anyone I told you cause it's supposed to be a surprise test. Just thought that I should warn you." He said and remained bent looking me in the eyes I nodded in response. Understanding why the Kazekage is testing me so much.

"What are you two doing?" Temari said leaning against the door frame. "I uh, had something in my eye." I lied

"Anyway we should get going." I said putting my bag back on my back and heading for the door. Kankuro and Temari right behind me. I stopped to lock the door and we headed out
