"So if you are a ninja and you are with someone from the sand why be part of the Leaf?" She asked. "There were complications." She looked at Kankuro who was sulking.

"What's your problem?" Hana asked him. "I don't think he will answer you. When he sulks you get the silent treatment. Probably best to leave him alone." I told her giving my arm a little scratch.

"So I'm going to assume dad doesn't know about you and Deidara?" I asked her. "No and he isn't going to find out." She answered. "He will. But you aren't five anymore so tell him to shove it." I told her simply. "Not if we are discreet about it."

"Yeah because when has that ever worked? Never if he is good at one thing it's finding out secrets. I didn't know how long it will take but he will know. Maybe he won't kill Deidara but he is definitely not going to be friendly. He has always been very protective like that." I explained to her scratching my arm again.

"Stop scratching." She demanded batting my hand away. "Akemi you don't think he knows do you?" She asked. "How am I exposed to know? I haven't been there in years." I told her resisting scratching my arm.

"Hey what are you going to do if dad doesn't let you be with Deidara?" I asked her. "I don't know. Probably break up with him." I rolled my eyes. "That's exactly why you'll never be happy. If Deidara makes you happy don't let dad get in the way. I can't say I approve of being with a criminal but if you're happy I'm happy. Anyway I'm not exactly in a position to tell you what to do. I just want you to be aware of what could happen." I told her scratching my arm again.

"Stop scratching your arm." She told me.
"Well I can say one thing you better protect this one if he makes you happy. If dad knows he will probably come kill him. He is stupid when it comes to this stuff." She told me. I shook my head. "I won't let him do that. And he isn't stupid he just doesn't understand that we are older and that we are growing up which means we can develop feelings for someone else. I think that is where he went wrong with mom. He has emotional issues." I finally felt the itch disappear.

"I thought you said your dad is an abusive crazy man." Temari stated. "He is but he is also protective. After all we are his kids." I told her. "Oh." Temari said. "I'm going for a run. I'll be back later." Kankuro said walking out of the room. I followed him as he walked to his room. He groaned clearly annoyed with me.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked closing the door then sitting on the bed. "Not a thing. What's wrong with you?" He asked looking through his clothes. "Don't turn this around. Something has clearly upset you. So tell me so I can see if I can fix it." I told him as he pulled of his shirt.

"Even if I told you it wouldn't make sense." He said pulling on a shirt he uses to work out in. Along with some workout pants. "Well how can I even try if you don't tell me?" I asked pulling my feet up in the bed.

"Akemi it really doesn't matter. Just leave it be I just felt like a run. I don't need your help anyway." I sighed scratching my arm once again. "Kankuro did I say something to make you mad? Or did Hana?" I asked him. "It doesn't matter. I just don't want to be here in this house with any of you right now. I'll be back later." He said walking out of the room.

I followed behind him. "Even so you shouldn't be a jerk. If I said something sorry I offended you but you can't hold something against me if I don't know what it is." He turned around making me bump into him.

"Leave me alone. I don't care if you said something and I don't care if you fix it just leave me alone. You've been around me since you've been here. Sometimes I need a break." I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously? We haven't been around each other in over a year. If you want me to leave you alone I will. But don't you go and act like mister high and mighty you jerk. I am trying to be nice but I can't be perfect. I am trying to adjust to what's been happening and you being like this isn't helping." He crossed his arms with a scowl.
