Another Kankuro Love Story

Day three in the forest of death

(Waring this episode contains gory detail if you don't like blood I advise skipping this episode.)

The next day we really didn't have anything to do except wait. Apparently Yumi would be arriving the next morning. Only a few other teams arrived I knew not one of them. Shikamaru and his team haven't arrived yet. Naruto and his team hasn't arrived yet either I was starting to panic.

I just made friends out side of the sand village what if they die. I was pacing back and forth in my room freaking out even though it was only the second day.

"Slow down you'll make a path in the floor if you keep doing what you're doing." Kankuro said. "I'm sorry it's just that I made friends for once and what if they die." I said. "It's okay it's only been two days they have three more. Just get in bed you need to sleep. You should start worrying on the fourth day. They are not as skilled as our team. They don't have an Akemi or Gaara on their team so they are probably slower. Just let's go to sleep." He said.

I looked at him and nodded and climbed under the covers. Kankuro went and turned off the lights and crawled under the covers. I turned over and he put his arm around me. "I hope you're right Kankuro." I said. "Good night." I gripped the cover and pulled it closer to my neck. "Good night Akemi." He sat up and gave me a peck on the cheek.

In my dream I didn't meet my sister instead I had a dream of my past.

~dream~

I was around six when I was going through intense training along with Hana. "Hana why can't you do anything right? What can't you be like Akemi? Huh? You failure of a child." My father's says slapping her until he lips busts. "Father no. Don't hit her if you want to hit someone hit me. I'm always showing her up she never gets her chance. Hit me." I said.

"You foolish girl. I'm not in the mood for you're games!" He yells slapping me hard enough my cheek bleeds. I guess he snapped cause he continued to hit me. I managed to turn around so my face wasn't getting beat to a pulp. "Aki no why are you protecting me?" Hana said. "Because I'm you're big sister and I'm supposed to protect you." I said holding out my arms to shield her better.

~Time skip in dream~

"So little shark which will it be you get injected with the poison then run my horrible maze or let poor little Hana do it. Choose fast because if not I'll choose." Orochimaru said. "I'll do it. Please just give Hana some water please." I begged on my knees.

"Okay if you take three of these new serums and run the maze fine. I'll give you both a break and may even let have a full meal." He said I nodded. He put the serums in my arm. "Okay go." He said shoving me into the maze. I started running through the maze everytime you made a wrong turn your feet were burned or shocked. And he changed the maze everytime. Half way through I started crying from the pain. It wasn't tears it was blood. The serum started kicking in.

Then my nose started bleeding and I coughed blood up as well I went down on the ground. No I must finish the maze. I went on when I finished Orochimaru laughed. "Okay you've impressed me enough to day little shark. I'll let you're sister and you rest tonight. Kabuto take them to their room and get them soothing eat and drink. Now rest up little shark so you can start again tomorrow" He said and rubbed my head. Then he walked away.

"Okay get up let's go." Kabuto said when I didn't get up he started kicking me and pushing me. "Please stop I'll go. I'll get up." I said standing. He walked us to our room.

"Akemi I'm so sorry. I wish I could do more for you." Hana said I shook my head. "No its okay just lay down with me?" I said and she nodded tearing up and laying by me.

"You are a worthless girl! How can you call you're self Kisames daughter?! You should have just killed your self in the forest when he dumbed you their. You're ugly have no talent and you're just a burden to us even to poor little Hana. You're like a roach you just keep coming back!" The man I couldn't remember yelled. As he rolled out a pack of tourcher items.
