Another Kankuro Love Story

Chapter 13

That morning I packed sense I forgot to last night. I then took a shower and dressed in comfortable clothes to wait on Temari and Gaara.

I decided at 7 to wake up Yumiko she woke up instantly. Kankuro was another story. "How do we wake him up?" Yumiko asked me rubbing her eyes. "I'll try pushing him off the couch." It's took both of us to achieve this goal. Still no result he just pulled the blanket along with him. "Dang. Let's try shaking him?" I suggested. She nodded.

Still to no effect. "I have an idea. You better stand back. I don't want you to feel his wrath." She took two steps back. I did some hand signs. "Water summoning jutsu." Water went all over his head. He sprung up off the floor. "W-what?! I'm up!" He yelled jumping off the floor. He looked around his eyes locked with mine. "Akemi!" He yelled. "What? You should have woke up when I called your name the first five times." I told him trying to look innocent.

"Whatever. I'm going to take a shower if Yumiko isn't. Are you?" He asked directing his eyes toward her. "I am but I'm going to use my bathroom. So go ahead and use Akemi's." She said waving her hands lightly in the air. "Okay Akemi I'm using your bathroom and no more pranks." He told me walking toward my room.

"Akemi?" Yumiko asked. "Hm?" I responded watching him walk away. I had the weird sense to follow him. "Why dose he stay with you all night if you're not dating? I mean I mistook you guys as dating because how you act." I blushed slightly. "Um...because he dosent want me to feel lonely. Also we are just really good friends I don't think there will ever be anything like that between us." I told her looking at the floor.

"Well you guys should you would be cute together so I'm rooting for you 100%." She told me. I giggled hugging her lightly then walking to my room.

I went to my drawer and pulled out my traveling outfit. My favorite anyway. It is a fishnet full length tank top with a dark blue crop top black yoga pant things (Author: not really sure what the pants are called), tennis shoes I pack tennis shoes as my ninja shoes because they have better grip on trees or sand and better running capability sure they wear out fast but they don't really cost much and the ninja sandals are extremely uncomfortable for long distance and kicking people my weapon pack and other weapon pack which holds my scrolls and bombs.

I looked at my bed and started taking my other clothes off. I put the pants on first and strapped they weapon pack that goes on they leg on. Then I realized I put it on the wrong leg I let out a sigh. Then took it off and then wrapping that goes underneath it to protect from rashes off then put it on my right leg.

Then put on the fish net tank top then the the other weapon pack. I then heard a gasp. I turned around 'crap' I thought. I forgot Kankuro was in my bathroom. "Um..." I said looking down blushing madly. "Akemi...." He said blushing too. I quickly put on the blue crop top. "Sorry. I just forgot you were in the bathroom. I need to think more." I said.

Silence then I heard footsteps crossing the room. I looked up and Kankuro was in front of me looking me in the eye. "Um Kankuro?" I said nervously. "Akemi." He said putting his hand to my cheek. I stood there looking at him. Then he brought his face closer to mine. I blinked and I swear I felt his lips brush mine once agaun. I blushed I looked at his eyes. He stared right back saying nothing. I heard a knock at the door I jumped and so did Kankuro. He immediately sat on the bed and looked at me. I pretended to be telling him something while finishing up my 'packing' we really need to stop doing that but secretly I wanted him to actually kiss me not keep brushing his lips against mine. Wait! What was I thinking?! "Come in." I said Temari walked. "What are you two up to?" She asked.

"Nothing just telling Kankuro he needs to learn that if he uses my bathroom he has to clean up any makeup he gets on the counter. They need to stay clean because they are white and I don't want them to stain." I lied. "Well sounds like him doesn't it some one has to put him in line. Oh by the way are you two ready?" I nodded. We walked to the gate. Then made it a goal to be put of the dessert before sundown. I pulled out my mask that covered all the way down to my neck and slipped it on.
