I felt like we walked for hours until we hit the next village. When we entered it I nodded. "Okay guys we are staying here for the night. We will eat and rest then first thing tomorrow morning we are going to leave. Everyone got it?" I asked them and they nodded. We then found a hotel and rented rooms then sat our stuff down then changed and went to find somewhere to eat.

We looked for a little bit and came to a restaurant. "Hi. How many?" A lady asked. "Five please." I informed her and she nodded and showed us to a round corner booth. We all slid in Kankuro and Neji on the outside and me by Kankuro then Lee then Tenten and then Neji.

"Hi there what can I get you to drink?" A waitress asked and I couldn't help but think she was exceedingly pretty. We ordered our drink and she smiled politely and walked away.

"So I was thinking if we leave at sun up tomorrow then we can reach the next town by sundown but the only way we can do that is if we take the small mountain pass which of course has to be bandit country. If we do that it cuts the journey down a little." I told them while picturing the map in my head.

"This sounds like a good choice but if it's through bandit country I don't know if it's a good idea." Tenten said leaning back in her seat. I seen Lee nod and sighed. "Hey you're the captain of the group it's your call." Kankuro said to me and I looked at Neji who was remaining quiet.

"Well you're the assistant Captain what do you think?" I asked him and he thought for a minute. "Well longer trip or chance getting attacked by bandits. Honestly both of them sound equally as bad so I can go either way. If we go the long way then we have to camp in the woods. If we go the short way we will reach a town and not have to sleep on the ground.

Therefore leaving us open to attack as well because we will be going around the base of bandit country. It's not ideal but going through the mountain pass seems like the best bet. I mean if three chunin. One jonin and an almost nearly perfect Anbu worthy girl can't take on a lowly group of bandits then what are we even ninjas for?" Neji asked making a real good point.

"So I think it's settled then. We go through the mountain pass." Tenten shook her head but didn't argue. The waitress came back and sat our drinks down and looked at Kankuro who scratched his head uncomfortably. "You guys ready to order?" She asked smiling at us.

"No sorry could we have a little extra time?" Kankuro asked her and she smiled at him and only him making jealousy spark inside me. "Of course I'll be back in a few." She gave a small wink then walked off. I ignored her then looked at the menu.

I knew what I was getting instantly upon opening my menu so I folded it back up and sat it down. "Already know what you want?" Kankuro asked playing with the end of my hair mindlessly.

"Yeah I do. Can you let me out though? I need to go to the restroom. I just want pork ramen in case she comes back before I'm back." He nodded and slid out so I could get out. I walked to the restroom and locked the door behind me.

I stood there for a moment then went and washed my hands. I walked out and started walking back to our booth where the waitress was standing talking to my team. I slowed down a little and watched as she laughed and put a hand on Kankuro's shoulder.

I glared but swiped it away. I was going to behave and not let my jealousy make a scene. I arrived at the booth where Kankuro let me in again and I sat back in my spot. "You guys ready to order yet?" She asked I couldn't help but narrow my eyes at her only a little bit.

We all ordered and I pulled out my book I've been reading. I let my self get lost in the words.

I jumped when something hit the table. I looked up to see Lee rubbing his elbow. I decided to put my book away feeling as if I was being rude not talking with any of them. "So how has the village been since I left?" I asked them casually.
