Another Kankuro Love Story

Kuro! My new cat!

While we were walking down the street Kankuro said "You are really great with making friends. You can make friends with the most stubborn people. Or the most dangerous people." He looked at me while walking.

"You're talking about Gaara being the dangerous friend. He isn't dangerous just misunderstood he wants friends just nobody ever gave him the time all they seen was a monster. I guess that is how we became friends because people see me the same way. He is one of the best people I've met and easy to talk to when you need to because he listens and gives good advice. Yes he can be a little out of control sometimes but he is harmless as long as you don't try to harm him." I told him silence.

"I say this because his sand has never hurt me. I have hugged him and goofed off with him and never once did even one grain of sand ever attack me. He is just lonely is all. Can't you tell you're his brother you should know." I added as an after thought.

"You continue to amaze me at how easy you are to make friends with even for Gaara and he has never had a friend before. I can tell Gaara has never hurt you and never will if anything he'll protect you. Don't get so worked up I wasn't judging. If anything I could learn from you. I'm not the nicest person." He told me. "Mm...thanks for not judging then Gaara could use another non judgemental person in his life. Now let's quit talking about this stuff it's depressing."I said stretching my arms above my head.

He nodded. A few minutes later I noticed he stopped and walked back to him. He was just staring at me. "What is there something on my face?" He just stood there while I was trying to figure out what he was staring at. "Akemi." I heard and looked up at him and nearly jumped out of my skin his face was really close to mine. Then he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine.

I enjoyed the kiss but what if someone seen us? I had to say something. "Kankuro someone  might see." I said pulling back a little. "Hmmm okay." He just pulled me in between to buildings and put his lips back on mine.

We were just standing in an alley kissing how wonderful. I hadn't noticed but his hand was twisted in my hair keeping his lips on my mine it kind of hurt he was pulling my hair slightly but I ignored it. We were just minding our own business when I heard movement in the dumpster down the alley from us. "Did you hear that?" I asked. "No probably just the wind blowing something around the alley. He was probably right.

We just went back to how we were but I was against the wall of one of the buildings this time and the kiss was a little rougher this time. A little bit later I heard it again.

This time I wasn't imagining it."Okay I definitely heard something. I'm going to go look." He groaned and followed. I opened up the dumpster and man did it smell horrible I almost gagged.

I think Kankuro did gag but hid it. I went ahead and ignored it I looked down in it I almost started crying. A mother cat who looked like she was attacked probably by a dog. Was dead and all the kittens were too except one who was still trying to get milk even thought she was dead they had to have been in here awhile for it to smell this bad I reached in and grabbed the kitten. "What are you doing?" Kankuro asked looking confused. "Getting this kitten out of the dumpster. I can't just leave it to die. Plus I wanted a cat." I found some boxes and put him in one and went back to the dumpster.

"Now what are you doing? You already have the cat." He asked as I handed him the boxes and put the kitty down on the ground. "Getting his family out they need a proper burial." I told him swinging one leg over the dumpster. "No Akemi that's ridiculous. You'll just get dirty." I huffed up and almost started crying."Kankuro if you're siblings died and there was only one person around and they were alone with nothing for miles would you want them to leave you sibling with out a proper burial? I for one would want my family member to have one even father. Which he doesn't deserve." I explained to him.
