Another Kankuro Love Story

Preliminary challenge!

( Author: I decided to skip to the next challenge part because I'm running out of ideas for the waiting part. Also warning this episode contains violence and gruesome detail so if you don't like hearing about blood skip this episode.)

On day five we were called to a big area for the next part of the exams. As we all lined up I glanced over at Saskae who was holding the curse mark and barely standing. I was about to walk over to him when Kankuro grabbed my wrist I looked at him and he shook his head. I sighed and didn't move. All of a sudden before the proctor began talking a ninja came running in chasing Kuro. I about started crying I opened my arms and he jumped into them. "Kuro what are you doing here?" I said looking at him.

He started meowing like he was crying and apologizing. "Shh. It's okay I forgive you. I promise but don't ever do what you did again." I said and he nodded and cuddled to my neck. He felt so skinny like he hadn't eaten at all. Oh my poor kitty. After that the proctor began talking about how there were to many of use and we were having a preliminary challenge before the final event.

As he was talking u was trying to pull Kuro off me he had attached him self to my black crop top which had our village symbol on it.  He wouldn't let go like he was clinging to me for dear life. Kankuro looked over and then smiled. 'Not funny' I mouthed at him. After he the proctor finished what he was saying he had us walk up to the balcony. I walked up with my team.

First up was Sasuke. "Oh no." I whispered. Kankuro looked at me "Sasuke is up first he isn't fit to battle if he does he may die. Why didn't they give up when they had the chance? I have to go talk to Kakashi." I said and before they could stop me I ran to the other side of the balcony to try and stop the match.

"Kakashi you can't let him fight if you do he may end up dying. Ah!" I grabbed my head suddenly there was images flashing in front of my eye's. "Akemi." Kankuro must have followed me. "Kakashi don't let him do this. You know as well as I do he can't fight." I said looking at him ignoring Kankuro. "Look i don't want him to fight but I don't have a choice. If I stop him he may never forgive me. If it looks like it is going to get to ruff I'll stop it." I nodded and started walking away.

I watched the fight scared for Saskae's life. After the match it turns out Sasuke won but he was in a lot of pain. Kakashi then took him out of the room. "See nothing bad happened." Kankuro said. A few more matches later it was Kankuro's turn. He walked down into the arena. I looked over the side and I saw images again. This time more clearly. I saw the Kazekage and me greeting him then I realized who he was and quickly said bye to him and ran to where all the others were. I then saw Kankuro giving up in the last part of the  exams. Then Gaara and saskue were fighting the everything turned into a huge mess. Gaara started transforming and the audience a tried falling under a genjutsu. Except the jonin and a few genin who knew what was happening.

I saw Gaara Temari and Kankuro take off. Saskue went after them. I then saw the Kazekage who turned out to be Orochimaru and the Hokage battle. The Hokage lost and died but not before taking Orochimaru's arm use with him. Then I was in the woods and saw Kankuro down on a tree laying there covered in bugs. Then farther ahead I saw Temari hiding from something the I saw Gaara transformed completely fighting the...

The images were gone. I gasped and then looked at the Hokage. Then at Gaara Temari Adnan last Kankuro who was trapped in a guys jutsu I gripped the railing hard. He was being strangled  I then felt a horrible pain all over my body and looked all around I didn't see anyone. I just went back to focusing on the fight. At that point Kankuro was all wrapped up in the man's jutsu and then snap. He snapped Kankuro's neck "Kankuro" I whispered at first then "Kankuro!" I yelled. I started freaking out "Let me loose. I'll kill him. Gaara let me loose I'm going to show him mercy. I'm going to end him." I said trying to get away from Gaaras sand. I made it to the railing "Akemi calm down." Temari said how were they so calm their brother just died. Unless it was trick. I then looked down at the match and at Temari with my tears streaked face. "That jerk. Why didn't I know about this? You can at least tell me." I said.
