Another Kankuro Love Story

No training?!

(So for this chapter I had some assistance from OCTOPI1130 because I was in a bit of writer slump. Also I have decided to make the newest character in honor of her. She has done alot to help me in my writing and she is my best friend. I just wanted to give her credit like I did in the character description. So with out further a due I give you the author team up chapter.)

"What?!" I yelled when she told me that I couldn't do any ninja work until she says otherwise. "You heard me." She said calmly.

"No. If you think this stupid thing is going to stop me then you're wrong. I trained when I broke my wrist was hit in the eye by something and couldn't see out of it and had just been through a punishment all at the same time then got beaten up and still trained the next day. So that isn't going to happen sitting still isn't my thing." I said looking at her. "I don't care if told you no right now. You better listen." I looked at the floor.

"It's all I know. I don't know how to do anything else but be a ninja. I have no other skills. It is the only thing I have right now please don't take this away from me." I begged she set her jaw I knew what the answer was and I wasn't going to like it or argue anymore. "No. I can't budge on this I'm sorry." She crossed her arms. "I see what you mean Kankuro she didn't take it lightly." I flinched it made sense now. Him coming back to the hotel with the Hokage she was warning him. "Fine. I won't do any ninja work it's not like I don't have someone to kill a sister to save. It's fine I'll set still and not get stronger so I can do that sooner." I said sarcastically. "Oh please. I know you told me I have thought it over already." I blinked.

"Yeah I bet. You haven't thought that I don't care because I was planning to die when I decided to fight him. You didn't think that I want to die already." I paused to look at her face. "No. Of course not. No one ever does. I have only met one person who knew I didn't even have to tell her. She gave me the tattoo on my shoulder. She is the only one who understands. So you see I don't care if you say I can't do ninjutsu because I don't care if I die at that point. The only time I care if right now until I can fulfill my goal. Then I don't care in fact I may end up killing myself over his dead corpse out of respect for him." I said and she looked taken aback. Then I felt something clamp down on my shoulder.

"Enough Akemi. Enough." I forgot he was in here. "Don't take it out on her. She is only doing what she knows is right. Don't blame her." Kankuro said not dropping his hand. I looked at it and he let it fall to his side. "Sorry." I turned and walked out of the office.

~Kankuro's POV~

I didn't want to hear anymore of what Akemi was saying. I wasn't going to let her die. So I stopped her and she then said sorry and left. "Sorry Lady Hokage. She is just hurt and scared of being helpless she doesn't mean a word of it." I bowed politely.

"I know that. She isn't the first to say things like that and won't be the last. But here it is a prescription for anti depressants it is probably best for her. I have seen many cases like hers and killing and ninjutsu is all she really knows. She may posses other skilled but all her heart, mind and soul can see is what she is bred and trained to do. Kill train and get stronger. Nothing can change that. So her being told she can't do what she knows and loves is like having her body slowly shut down. It isn't any good for her." She seemed reasonable but I knew she was a little worried.

"Don't worry she is living with my siblings and I. By now we are used to her and can handle her. We know how she is better than anyone. Minus Saskue he was around her for two years and that snake. They may know but won't say anything. I'll uh see if I can get her some kind of 'ninja' job. It may just be delivery through the village though. Or assisting Gaara not that he needs it he has Temari but she would give it up for the time being. Akemi and Gaara are close anyway he will be able to reason with her I hope." I said and she nodded I gave her the prescription paper back.
