Another Kankuro Love Story

"Hey sis. How have you been? I bet you're doing great. Seeing how you left me here with father. Oh, but don't worry I mean I'm being taken good care of. Isn't that right father?"

"Of course. Don't worry Akemi. I'll find you someday and being you back to me. We will be a family agian."

"No no you won't!"I screamed. "Why can't you just leave me alone! I don't want to see you again!" I screamed as something lashed out at me.

~End of dream~

"No!" I yelled. Waking up to see that I had my new roommate pinned against the floor with her arm twisted behind her back. Kankuro was trying to get me to release her. He was pulling on me yelling my name.

I immediately let go when I realized what was happening. "Oh my gosh. I'm so so sorry." I said tears coming to my eyes. Letting Kankuro grab my arms.

"It's okay." Yumiko said rubbing her arm. I started shaking my head not believeing what I just did. Kankuro pulled me into a hug. Yumiko left the room. Probably to put ice on her arm.

"What we're you dreaming about?"He asked me. I shook my head. "Just my family." I told him not wanting to lie. "My sister and father." I said into his chest still shaking "It's okay it was just a dream. You're okay." He held me for I don't know how long. But long enough for Yumiko to knock and say she had breakfast ready. We pulled apart. Then walked to the kitchen.

When we were sitting at the table Yumiko sat at the other end of me and Kankuro on my left. They dug-in immediately. I hesitated. "You okay?" Kankuro asked looking up from his plate. I giggled at him. When Yumiko seen what is was she laughed too. "What? Do I have something on my face." I nodded grabbing a napkin and wiping it off still laughing partially.

I barely ate anything though I tried but something was making me feel bad. I couldn't keep anything down but didn't tell anyone. Even though while Kankuro was with me through the morning he kept glancing at me. Yumiko had to go to the Kazekage office so it was just Kankuro and I. We eventually went to his house. I watched as he messed with his puppets on the table in his room.

"You want to eat lunch? I can see what we have in the kitchen." I nodded even though the thought of food made me feel sick. We got up and went into the kitchen.

I watched as he pulled sandwich stuff out of cabinets and the fridge. "I think that is about it." He stated walking over to the island in the kitchen. I giggled as he dropped everything he had in his hands. I bent over to help pick everything up.

I sat at the island on the stools watching him assemble two sandwiches. Giggling when he would mess up and curse under his breath.

When he finally made two sandwiches he sat down beside me putting one in front of me. I felt the sickness again. But forced myself to eat half of it. While he devoured his. "Full already?" He asked behind a bite. I nodded getting up to take my plate to the sink. Then started putting things away. "No need the maid will clean it."

I shook my head then said "It's not right to make someone clean up like that all the time. Why make her job harder?" He shrugged it off. I just rolled my eyes. After that he went back to the puppets. I went to the bathroom knowing I was going to throw my lunch up. I did and came out.

Nearly jumping out of my skin. Seeing Gaara running right into me. "Your sick?" He said grabbing my shoulders and looking me in the eyes. "No I just can't keep anything down. It is probably just some bug I caught it'll pass. Aren't you worried you'll get sick?" I asked.

"No I can't get sick." He told me. "Just don't tell Kankuro he'll get all freaked out."I said "I won't have to." Gaara said looking past me."Won't have to what Gaara?" I winced at the sound of his voice. Then winced again at the sharp abdominal pain I got. Clenching my stomach.
