The bet with Sasuke!

The next morning Kankuro and I went to find a pet for me. I brought my map along because everyone knows how my directional skills are. "Why don't we ask someone?" I asked for what seemed like the hundredth time now. "Because there is no sense in asking if you can find it youself." He told me looking at the map.

"Men and asking for directions." I mumbled. "What was that?" He asked. "Nothing!" I told him stiffening up quickly playing innocent. "You know what let's just walk around until we find one." He said grabbing my hand. I gasped "What we're are secretly dating now. We left before any of our group woke up. Also no one from around here knows us anyway. We can just say we are holding hands because your directional skills are horrible." He said I gave him a pretend angry look.

He just laughed. "Fine but first person I know I'm asking for directions. Got it?" I told him sternly he grunted in disapproval. I just sighed.

It seemed like all we did was walk around in and out of shops for hours. Finally we ran into someone we met. Although I was kind of scared to ask him because he was with his team. I gathered my courage anyway.

"Hi Naruto Sakura and brooding boy that hates everything that is on the earth!" I said quite loudly waving."Oh hey Akemi!" Only Sakura responded because Naruto was dying of laughter making fun of the brooding boy.

"What are you up to?" She asked glaring at Naruto. "Actually I was wondering if you could help me out? You see we were looking for somewhere we could get like a pet. I need one because I get really depressed on my own. Grumpy pants decided not to asked for directions but I don't care I need help." I said explaining.

They all looked behind me to see Kankuro who was still holding my hand looking as invisible as he could with out running off. "Say hi Kankuro." He just waved. "What's his deal?" Naruto asked getting in his face glaring him in the eye. Of course he took it as a challenge and glared right back.

"Anyway Sakura if you help me I will be very grateful." I let go of his hand he didn't notice still having a death glare competition with Naruto. "Yeah I don't think I know of any. What about you Sasuke?" She asked him. "Sakura how should I know. Bother Naruto." He said rudely. "Hey listen here buddy that is no way to talk to a lady much less you're team mate. Show a little respect in her presence.  I mean it or I'll beat you to a pulp." I threatened him.

"Oh yeah? I don't really care." He said with bordem. I handled Gaara I can handle him. My arguing got Kankuro's attention. "Hey man. I would listen to her. She can kick my butt and I was raised on the terrain we fought on. I also should have had the upper hand but I was wrong don't act full of your self I'm warning you for your sake." He warned him.

"Yeah? Okay how about this Akemi has to fight me one on one until one submits . If I win she has to apologize for telling me what to do and buy my whole team lunch. Trust me Naruto can eat more then almost anyone I've ever met." Sasuke said. I smiled.

"Okay. If I win you have to apologize to Sakura and me also you have to treat her me Temari and Yumiko like ladies the rest of the time I'm here. Deal?" He smirked then nodded. "Okay just lead me to a battling ground I need a big area or this will get messy." I told him. Kankuro groaned in defeat.

We made it to the training ground. "Akemi take it easy don't kill him and don't destroy everything. Okay?" Kankuro asked me putting his hand on my shoulders like a big brother. He leaned down and whispered in my ear. "Mostly don't loose I don't want our village to look bad okay?" I nodded then smiled up at him.

I then walked to the opposite end of the arena. I could hear Kankuro telling Sakura and Naruto to get in the trees and stay there they did as did he said. Smart. "Okay! Let's begin!" I yelled. Suddenly Sasuke disappeared I guess he thought he would surprise attack me. He was wrong. He tried to kick me in the head from behind. I caught his foot and squeezed he winced in pain but twisted and swung the other straight down which I grabbed. He then tried to punch me.
