Chapter 46

The next morning we woke and got ready for our mission. As we were getting ready I had to debate between shirts.

I decided with my shirt that says I'm his on the front of it and it was black. Kankuro has a matching shirt but never wears it Tamari got them as jokes for us. I paired it with a plain black zip up jacket black ninja pants and black ninja sandals then I strapped on all of my gear. Then I put my hair in a low bun.

I looked at Kankuro who smiled after reading my shirt. I grabbed his hand as we walked out of the door and to the front gates. The only one there was Lee who I basically tackled in a hug. He laughed and hugged me back. "I haven't seen you in forever!" I said as he sat me down after spinning me. "I know everything has been so crazy." He said and I nodded with a smile.

"Yeah you've been a stranger recently." Tenten said coming up with Neji behind her. "Well I can't talk in a coma." I told them jokingly but they just frowned. "What?" I asked them confused and realized what I said they must not have known. I clapped my hands together.

"Okay! Time to travel for now our formations isn't as important right now because we don't have any prisoners but when we pick them up Lee will be on one side and Kankuro will be on the other Tenten will be in front and Neji in the back. Neji I am mostly counting on you because of your eyes and senses I will be all over just because I will be keeping my eyes open.

Kankuro your useful because of your ability to react quickly to a situation bur your a long distance fighter.

Lee has speed and strength and Tenten has her weapons abilities which makes sense them good for hand to hand which is why you're going to be closer to the front. Then me I favor up close hand to hand combat so either way.

Listen we are dealing with criminals they will not hesitate to kill or take a hostage. If you even think they are about to pull something restrain them and if they do try something do not even hesitate kill them.

These guys are not to be taken lightly. They are not to be chatted with and most certainly no one will be alone with either of them I want us to stay in groups of two at least with handling them and the restraints will not be taken off them not for a single reason. Also instead of one person on night watch there will be two. Do not let them even think they have an opening because they will take it.

There is no room for error because one slip up is life or death for us all. They are scum and they are dirt and they will be treated as such. They are your underlings and do not show them other wise. If they talk or ask for things just ignore them. They are to eat when we eat and drink nothing more they are not even aloud to go to the bathroom by them selves boys you will be with them the whole time no matter how awkward it is do not turn your backs on them and they will remain in their clothes the whole time.

They will kill and won't care if I see any of you break these rules I will see to it you get punished for three things one breaking a rule two for coercing with the enemy and three defying a direct order from your team captain. Is this understood?" I asked all of them and they nodded. "I don't wanna be this way but I have to be sometimes you have to be like the criminal to stop the criminal. Think like them not like you normally would. I don't wanna see you guys get hurt so I have to be really strict on these rules. Not until we get them which will be in a week but still." I said and they nodded once again.

"Okay great let's get going then we have a long journey." We then started our long journey to the land of ice. Neji kept sneaking looks at me so I went over and took Kankuro's hand in mine. He just smiled at me and held my hand intertwining our fingers. That night I took first watch then Lee then Neji then Kankuro and then Tenten.

After Lee took over I went and lied next to Kankuro who breathed deeply and turned over. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
