"Akemi. Akemi!" I gasped instantly closing my eyes and clenching my hands. I felt a sharp shake then opened my eyes. "What?" I snapped staring at Sakura. "You were not responding you looked super pale. Are you alright?" I shrugged. "Why wouldn't I be alright Sakura? I just zoned out and when I do its almost like I'm dead. It's just a habit now." She eyed me then looked at my hands that didn't stop moving.

"Sorry." I stopped them from moving immediately. "Anyway. They have asked if we wanted to stay here until we finish the meeting. What do you want to do?" I shrugged.

"Whatever it is fine by me. I am not in a position to be picky." I told her feeling my hands start twitching. "I'm going to the bathroom. Tell me whatever you were saying when I get back." She grabbed my hand.

I let out a breath. "Why are you going in there?" I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Sakura I may be different but I still have to pee. Now quit freaking out over everything." She let my hand go. I quickly walked to the bathroom so I wouldn't be stopped anymore. I sat on the side of the tub quietly.

I let myself zone out again. After what felt like a few mintues I heard a knock on the door. "Are you still alive in there?" Temari asked. "Yeah sorry." I quickly opened the door. She looked a little worried. "What I was gone like five minutes?"

"No you were in there for an hour and a half." I blinked. "Oh...well I'm fine I just wanted to runaway from people." She sighed. "You mean Kankuro?" I shook my head. "No your other brother and Sakura." She looked confused.

"Why Gaara? I thought you were friends?" I shrugged. "When ever I even look at Kankuro he glares at me and it makes me uneasy." She raised an eyebrow. "He has always been like that. You just seem to be picking up on it later than most."

"No. He is different. I don't know how but he is. Maybe he is scared that I am trouble?" She shook her head. "No I don't think so. Honestly if you want my opinion I think he is stressed and he is actually getting worn out. Don't fret too much he isn't mad at you or anything." I nodded.

"Okay....so why don't you take the stress off him?" I asked her. "He won't let me help him. He says he is the Kazekage he must do it all himself." I rolled my eyes. "Well not everything about me has changed. I still have a hard time processing demands. So I'll just have to do something about all his stress." She eyed me then looked around the hall.

"I am just happy you're not dead and that you are still my friend." She grabbed my hand planting something in it. By acting sympathetic. I nodded. "Well I'm going to go to my room." She said after standing there a second more. I silently walked to my old room. It was as I left it.

The bed was made and everything organized. I changed into a long sleeve black shirt and dark grey skinny jeans. With black boots and black gloves. Then sat on the bed. Once it hit midnight and everyone was asleep I walked to Kankuro's room. He was sitting silently on his bed. His eyes met mine once I closed the door.

"Hey." I greeted sitting next to him. "What are you doing up?" He shrugged. "I was thinking. What do you want?" He said.

"Oh...well uh...I was wondering if you would be willing to help me with something?" He shrugged. "Why can't you do it yourself?" I sighed. "I don't know how to do everything by myself. I'll tell you if you come with me." He shrugged.

"Great I'll take that as a yes." He pulled on a hoodie then offered me one. "No thanks. I'm good." He raised an eyebrow. "You sure? You know what the temperature is like here." I nodded. "I don't really feel the cold any more."

"Why's that?" I shrugged. "After I was rescued something changed...I didn't really feel anymore. I mean I can feel pain but harsh pain not scraps and bruises. That goes for the temperature too. I mean I'm pretty sure it was cold the night I was rescued because they were all shivering slightly except Kakashi and I didn't feel it I was just shivering in relief." I explained as we walked outside.
