"Kakashi Naruto Sakura. Thank you for coming." They nodded. I went rigid as his gaze fell on me. "Who are you?" I looked at Naruto.
"I'm..." I smiled. "Her name is Kana Uzumaki. My cousin." Naruto said I let out a breath. "I'm didn't think you had any family." Gaara told him. "Neither did he. I showed up one day out of the blue. I have been at the Leaf for about a month now." I lied straight up. He nodded.
"You sound oddly familiar." I shrugged. "I have one of those voices I guess." We continued into the village. I didn't bother talking or looking around. I knew what everything looked like. I just walked along quietly.
When we arrived at the office I sighed at the familiar sight. But I never let my gaurd down. We waited in the office I stayed still trying not to be visible. Of course the other two came in. I felt something break inside me when I seen Kankuro.
He looked terrible. Like he hadn't slept in weeks he looked as if he was suffering. I stared at him. I wanted to talk to him. I wanted to tell him I wasn't dead and that I was sorry for running away and lying. I took a small step then turned around. I clenched my jaw and fists tightly.
"Are you alright?" Temari asked noticing my clear discomfort. "Y-Yeah. I just haven't slept in days is all." I admitted Sakura glared at me. "I knew it." She said planting her fist in the palm of her hand. "I need to leave. Find me once you have what you need Kakashi." I left not looking behind me. Until Sakura grabbed me by the hand.
"It's the nightmares. Isn't it? Or is it PTSD? Or insomnia?" I yanked my hand from her making my glove slide off. "Give it here Sakura." She batted my hand away. "Why didn't you say anything?" I shrugged trying to grab my glove from her.
"It wasn't any of your buisness." She held the glove out of my reach. "Yes it is. I'm your nurse it's my job. And a team is only as strong as its weakest link. If you are not in shape because of exhaustion. You're a liability." I groaned in frustration.
"I'm not weak because I'm tired I'm weak because I'm still hurt. I only started walking again not too long ago." She rolled her eyes. "Is that why you are completely covered up because you're weak?" She asked hitting my stomach. Naruto yelled but it was too late I had doubled over. Then I coughed feeling something go down my mouth as I breathed in.
I stood stumbling slightly from the pain. I yanked my glove from her hand then calmly put it back on. "Happy? Want to hit me again? Go ahead if it makes you feel better. If not I'm leaving." I seriously stood there silently waiting for another hit. I nodded once J knew she was not going to hit me again. Then turned to leave.
Once outside I walked to a small cafe that Kankuro and I ate at once. "You're kinda creepy miss." A young boy said. "I know. I get that alot." He sat in the chair across from me. "Where did you get your mask?" I smiled. "It was made special for me. There isn't another like it." He smiled back.
"Can I try it on?" I shrugged. "I don't know. If I take this off you might be even more scared." He tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
"I look like a shark." He blinked. "That's even cooler. So you're like a cat shark ninja. You're like a superhero." I sighed then pulled the mask off. I ran a hand through my hair. I handed him the mask. "I want this back. Don't break it." He grinned and put it on. He ran up to his mother and she smiled.
When he told her who it belonged to her smile fell a little. She told him to return it. "Sorry Miss. I have to leave. Thank you for letting me wear it." I smiled. "No problem."
I let my smile disappear when he was gone I snapped my mask back into place. Then I sighed then rest my head on the palm of my hand. "Miss can I get you anything?" A server asked.
