FRANK: I didn't understand what the hell was happening, why now and why was I always left alive but I didn't care, not anymore.Just kill me already!
Suddenly the hoarse voice sounded again and I looked back in the distance. The cloud that had descended to the road had stopped.
It was as if the cloud was the source of the voice. I looked at the blackness that swirled around, enveloping everything around but not approaching.
It remained where it was, it was too dark to see what was behind it and as I looked on, it felt like I was peering into the blackest night ever.
A figure suddenly stepped out of the dark clouds calmly.
To say I was surprised would've been cute and I found myself falling back to the ground.
''Who?'' I said to myself as lump caught my throat.
Was it them, the same ones I saw that night?
The person calmly strode towards me, every step he took tapped the road like a slow song. Even from where he stood I could see the man perfectly, he wore a black suit with a red tie.
He was bald, absolutely no hair and he had what looked like a long black cane with something silver at the top where his hands held.
He seemed to have a tattoo on his right side of his face, he grinned as he called out, ''Frank''
There was no doubt that the hoarse voice belonged to the frail individual striding towards me with such ease as if taking his time to reach me.
''Frank'' he called out again smiling widely.
I took a step back as he continued to head for me, all the while the dark cloud followed him closely, the rain hadn't stopped once.
''Who are you?'' I called, this by far was the weirdest day of my life.
The man smiled as he suddenly spun his cane around and in a second the rain stopped. I opened my mouth in shock.
"My name is Peter"
Nothing else followed as he smiled cheerfully "Um...okay"
The figure grinned, ''I came for you Frank'' he continued.
How was he able to do that, stop the rain?
I was dumbstruck but I refused to lose my sanity, there had to be some sort of trick to it and focusing on the matter at hand I asked again, ''How do you know my name?''
The man responded, ''My dear boy, I know everything about you''
I tried not to panic but in all honesty, I was trembling, ''Thanks but I'm sure you can understand why I'm not flattered'' I almost croaked.
