VICTORIA: That werewolf earlier was recently bitten but already he knew of this girl.

Already he had the hatred his kind had for years against her kind. I looked at Rose as she slept, her head leaned on the window.

Why was she special?

"I don't understand Owen"

He didn't respond, of course, he wouldn't but it sort of made it easier to talk to him about things.

"She's not happy about her powers, she acts like she's weird and yes she is but that enrages me more"

I grunted, "Jon is so invested in her too"

But why?

This girl clearly wasn't ready, she'd hurt herself in no time and that's what annoyed, she wanted to stay in the human world but agreed to Jon.

She must've known that she'd be introduced to our world. Why endanger yourself when there's no need to?

"She's hopeless"

The car suddenly stopped, "What?" I asked.

He didn't say anything but kept looking at me through the rearview.

"What, I should apologize?"

No reply.

"It's the truth that's all I said"

No reply.

"I'm not replacing me with her"

No reply.

"I'm not jealous, I just don't agree with Jon."

No reply.

"It's not because he's more interested in her, that's not it."

No reply.

"Okay...maybe a little. I mean my whole life I've trained and studied magic, I should be having the focus."

No reply.

"Yeah I know it isn't her fault"

No reply.

"Fine. I'm sorry happy?"

Owen sparked the car and resumed driving.

I shook my head and looked at her once more, she was actually really cute.

My Grimoire suddenly shook and I knew what it meant, a message from someone.
I opened the book and flipped to an empty page, slowly ink materialized.

I watched as the ink drew itself till I was looking at a name, "His name is Allan Meroe" I said out loud.

Meroe?

"What are the odds that it's Joseph's kid?" I almost laughed.

I caught Owen's eye, "Yeah I snooped in on Jessica so what, not like I wasn't going to meet him anyway after all..."

I looked at Rose once more, "We're all part of The prophecy"

I remembered the first time I heard about the prophecy, was it during the summoning by my parents and the Whitewood family?

No.

No, in actual fact the first time I heard about that was that night. The night I was left alone at home when I was seven. The memory was clear as day when mother left to meet the Lords and I happened across a monster.

The house we were in was our vacation spot, mum and dad brought me here sometimes when they had something to do ironically.
