VINCENT: Night time always made me feel powerful, was it because of what I was.
I fondled with my Varik, ''Boris, I'm feeling a bit hungry why don't we stop for dinner?'' I said.

There was a bit of silence before he replied.

''Of course sir'' Boris responded, ''We are actually nearing a filling station coincidentally, please relax whilst I go get something'' and soon enough we reached the filling station.

I glanced at the shop next to it and spotted a young girl, probably around my age sitting at the counter blowing bubble gum.

Focusing my vision and hearing I confirmed that she was alone, ''No one else appears to be here sir'' Boris said.

I nodded, ''Don't make a mess and remember the family code'' I said reluctantly.

''Always young master'' Boris said bluntly and he left the car to the shop.

I glanced at my laptop-Moonsville, there was nothing of the school as I predicted.

From what I could tell, this school wasn't governed by the Vampire council or the Elves or Cents so it most likely had to be under the warlords, to be in particular...

Whitewoods. Great.

I peeked to see Boris grab the girl and drag her to a corner of the store, she screamed and struggled but it was futile.

I sighed and kept researching- what was so important about going to the school-was it that much of a threat?

Come to think of it, who were those humans spying on me, how could they tell I was a vampire on sight, is it possible Eve's tales had some basis of truth in them?

Suddenly I heard a hissing, I looked around-someone was here!

I glanced behind me but saw no one but I could smell the individual, whoever it was gave off a repugnant smell.

I wasn't afraid, I had been taught how to fend for myself ever since I was a child-this was nothing different.

My eyes suddenly fell on a figure calmly walking towards the car.

He wore a black-clad suit with a red tie and had a staff.

He was bald with marks on his right side of the face-a Grimm, not just any Grimm -Peter.

He never stopped smiling, even when he opened the door to the back seat and joined me as if he was expected.

''Hello young Peville'' he snickered, he spoke in a weird tone.

A good ten nerve-wracking seconds passed as we exchanged looks till I decided to talk, something told me that everything I did here and now would determine tonight's fate.

I had to be careful.

''...How may I help you, Peter?'' I said grimly.

''I'm from work actually, I attempted to kill a particular boy...he's just about your age, almost had him too till a warlord came and ruined the fun but my men are still in pursuit though''

I looked at him for a few mere moments before uttering "Oh"

He snickered as he took out a handkerchief and began brandishing the silver gargoyle object on his stick, the air felt heavy with this man's presence.

''I know the old man warned you'' the Grimm said staring with such ferociousness at me, it was as if I was in a room with a venomous snake but what did he mean?

I noticed his black tux and was reminded of the Vampire Council's hitmen. It was almost similar, did they have the same sense of fashion.

Peter took a deep breath and stretched his arms before crossing them behind his pale head.

I knew how dangerous he was, I knew how he lived for the kill but I wasn't scared or rather I wasn't as scared as he wanted me to be.

Be calm Vince. Any wrong move and you're dead.

It was useless to run and the weapons Ron provided me were in the trunk, even with my speed I knew I wouldn't stand a chance.

He watched me from head to toe whilst smacking his lips, his eyes looked soulless, "He warned you didn't he?''

Who?

There was no glow in those blank eyes, even a vampire like me was intimidated but I refused to succumb.

What warning did he mean?

I thought hard about my recent events and immediately my mind went to the message I got in the piece of paper.

Is that what he meant, I didn't even see who gave me that paper or did he mean Sar?
