VINCENT: The ride after that went by without interruptions, ''Boris'' I called.

''Yes young master?'' he replied.

''What do you know of the SilverFoot?'' I asked as I drank.

''Well sir, I can tell you that they are powerful adversaries, already they are our natural enemies as they are werewolves but these werewolves are on a different scale. They've existed all this time purely because of their strength and their leader is feared amongst them.''

Julia was obsessed with this particular pack, she'd go on and on about how they defeated their enemies in one fluid strike. Seeing as vampires and werewolves were enemies it was strange seeing such admiration from her.

Werewolves, in general, were a bunch of disorganized dogs who did anything they wanted, their attitude sometimes reminded me of dwarves but I guess there was more to them than I thought.

They'd even fight their own alpha for dominion and every time the alpha would have to prove to both himself and the pack that he or she was capable.

If the Grimm were seeking aid from them then it meant they were using all their cards, not taking chances and that only increased my curiosity.

I honestly didn't care what this battle was about, I didn't like to align myself with any particular side but the mystery is what compelled me.

"The silverfoot huh?" I said to myself with a wolfish snarl "this seems to be getting more and more interesting."

I thought hard and asked, ''And this leader, this Alpha...Devin, is he still in control?''

Boris nodded ''Yes, after the Night War though Devin as his name was, sustained heavy injuries and vanished without a trace. Even his people had no idea where he had gone off to...some say he died. Others too say he found enlightenment but to this day the werewolves have remained loyal believing he'd return and so chose not to abandon his ways''

Not surprising, he must've been something back in the day.

I glanced at the skies as the car passed, the skies seemed starrier than usual, ''So, no one has tried to take control of the pack?'' I asked.

Boris responded, ''Maybe but even the council doesn't know what is going on with them, werewolves are almost as stubborn as elves and if they don't want to be found, if they desire to be gone without a whisper of their whereabouts it is highly possible''

I thought for a while before I asked the last question, ''Do you know who or what could've hurt the alpha that much?''

After a while, Boris replied, ''I heard they were Circles''...

You have got to be kidding!?
