CHAPTER 3-MS. APPLE'S HAVEN

AT THE HAVEN OF MS. APPLE...

ROSE: The cheers were very loud as lights all converged on a sudden stage that appeared out of nowhere.
Red curtains had been drawn, I had no idea what was happening but my minds were on the little girl.

Where is she, where is Simona?

People all stopped their bets and rushed to see the supposed big entrance, ''And now I present to you ladies, gentlemen and magical folks, the owner of this casino Ms. Apple''

The curtains finally pulled back as a singing voice sounded.

A piano could be heard and drums were played as the voice began singing. Her voice was really good, she was able to reach high pitch easily and change tones.

"🎶Are you ready my dear guests?" came a resonant voice followed by the loudest yodel ever.

People cheered as out of the curtains burst a fat looking woman who wore a fruit hat. The hat had various fruits all on from pineapple to oranges, grapes to yes, even apples.

Okay...

She wore a white gown that seemed to shine and high heels so high they'd reach my ankle.

''🎶Oh I can feel the electricity in the air'' she sang as she pretended she was being shocked by lightning, ''🎶Tonight feels like a special one, I can't help but sing ''

The woman sang as she introduced herself in a song, ''🎶My name is Ms. Apple, I love seeing my guests so happy'' she sang as she suddenly swung around a long white ribbon out of thin air.

"🎶Every drink and food is sold here, from all Kingdoms far and so near"

"🎶She's the Queen, most beautiful of all. Best of havens Apple's your call." A choir sang out.

The huge woman laughed, "🎶I own the best of all those Havens, that's the way I maintain my reign."

The crowd watched in admiration and I just looked on greatly confused –what world was this?

''🎶Business or pleasure, my casino has it all, work or leisure, allow us to make your call'' she sang as she jumped from place to place on the stage as if she was a ballerina.

Balloons and confetti fell everywhere in the casino "What the hell is going on?" I said quietly.

Was this some form of musical?

This was completely different from what my mind was beginning to accept. I was looking at something incomprehensible.

Ms. Apple continued to sing.

''🎶Feel that energy deep inside, it makes me want to visualize'' she began jiggling her body as she brushed her hands on the faces of the guests who had leaned forward.

''🎶Everyone needs some happiness so come on in, its suits and dress'' trumpets blew in unison from everywhere as the ridiculous song continued.

''🎶I hope you are having fun as much as I am, here anyone is allowed here, it doesn't matter if you are a criminal or an animal, in Apple's Haven fun is integral'' she twirled the ribbons around and a monkey unbelievably came out of thin air and began running around happily.

She twirled the ribbons again elegantly and her extremely tall high heels were normal size.

''🎶Ooh La La La welcome to the place of Valhalla!" a chorus echoed.

The sounds of all forms of musical instruments reached my ears, trumpets, guitars were all played.

Suddenly women dressed in pink bumped past me dancing with all their might, their faces continually smiling.

"🎶Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome!" They said in a soft lullaby. It sounded so melodious but spooky at the same time.

One of the ladies glanced at me for a while and for a second her eyes turned all white.

I almost screamed but her eyes turned normal in a flash.

"🎶Ooh, La La La welcome to the place of Valhalla'' a chorus voice, loud and raucous erupted.

People clapped loudly and whooped, I honestly had no reaction at this point, everything here was like a big dream.

I just watched on as the big woman jumped from side to side singing at the top of her voice at the same time performing what looked like magic acts.

Suddenly a piano set appeared when Ms. Apple spun the ribbon.

A man dressed like most of the men in the casino was already seated before the piano playing energetically on the organ as the singing continued.

''🎶Monster, ghouls, shapeshifters too, I hope you feel safe, feel free to woo. Have some fun just don't fight and run and everything here will be as smooth as bun''

As the big woman sang, men dressed in white spandex came out from the curtains and danced and waltzed along with Ms. Apple in perfect synchrony.

"🎶Ooh open all your wallets and your bags, oh come, come and take a trip to heaven's grace"

The monkey just kept running around in circles as more confetti fell everywhere.

"🎶I, the most beautiful woman in the world" Ms. Apple sang before yodeling "I, cannot be compared to anyone"

"🎶Anyone?" a random man stepped out of the crowd singing the question.

"🎶Anyone" The reply was echoed in song-form.

I looked at the people around, were they part of the musical?

''🎶Ooh La La La welcome to the place of Valhalla'' the choir sang again.

'' 🎶Oh but I sense a presence here, something new and oh so dear, someone born of special blood, oh such power in this flower's bud'' she sang as she twirled.

What was she talking about?

I looked around as slowly it dawned on me that people's eyes were on me.
