LOCATION UNKNOWN...FRANK: I slowly opened my eyes with a groan, I had a splitting headache.
What had happened?
I tried to recall the events that led to where I was. I squinted my eye and rose my arm to block out the sunlight.
I was in the front seat of a moving car, my vision began to get accustomed to the light as I saw the beauty of wilderness as the car passed by.
The sight was just a marvel, a true masterpiece of God's work, I still was a bit hazy as I heard snoring.
''Where?'' I asked and looked back to see someone sleeping with his mouth wide open and leg stretched all over –wait, I knew this person, it was Sam and suddenly I remembered.
We were in a tornado, we shouldn't have survived!
I glanced beside me to see the Theo guy driving, he smiled at me, ''...Finally awake I see''
I looked around once more to confirm I wasn't dreaming.
''What just happened?'' I asked groggily.
Theo smiled as took a curve, ''Well, a lot of things but in the end, I guess I can say you guys fainted''
''But we were sucked in, I remember!'' I objected.
Theo chuckled, ''It was the veil I told you about earlier, it's a mirror world, a sort of an alternate reality where lost souls reside, an ability Peter possesses. The people after you are called Grimm. What you saw was not real, well it was but it existed in another reality, normal humans wouldn't see it unless a Grimm allowed so yes, you still would've been killed''
I listened intently, ''We probably would have perished if not for the book you found'' Theo said as he checked the rear-view mirror.
"They can do that anytime...the mirror world?"
Theo nodded as he breathed in the cool air.
That meant Jack could still be alive.
''The elf?'' I asked and Theo grinned, ''That's a different story for later, trust me, it's too long to explain in a taxi''
I still had so many questions but my first was to me, the most important, ''Drake knew of all this and he kept it a secret?''
Theo frowned a bit, ''It's a long story kid, I think he should be the one to explain to you''
I agreed with him at least on this one, he had a lot to tell me after keeping such a secret from me.
I glanced at Sam, ''What about him?''
Theo smiled sadly, ''He won't remember the events that led up to this place, after this, he won't remember me even. I placed a spell on him, he's not supposed to be part of this, I have no right endangering his life though I would miss his company''
I looked back at the driver as he slept peacefully, I envied him a bit but I still wanted to remember and know that such things existed.
Suddenly a loud shrill pierced my ears and I jumped back as the body of a large red bird flew in front of the car then into the sky.
Theo laughed at my reaction, ''He's an ambiguous individual isn't he?''
I calmed myself down, with so many surprises, it was a wonder I didn't die of a heart attack, ''That's Red right?'' I asked.
Theo nodded, ''He's my guardian, think of it like my personal bodyguard from another dimension. He's entirely composed magic so he doesn't relate to humans well''
