C.MS. APPLE'S HAVEN

ROSE:  The big woman yelled frantically as she crawled further and further back.

''They want her, they are looking for her...she is also part of the prophecy. She cannot stay here or they will find this place'' she said, ''It's best if she is killed immediately or we will suffer the consequences'' she said never taking her eyes off me.

''Guards!'' she suddenly called and out of thin air appeared two big looking men in suits.

They wore dark glasses and had several rings on their fingers with writings on them.

''You are to kill this girl immediately!'' Ms. Apple ordered and without hesitation, I ran.

No way am I dying here of all places.

The crowd dispersed in fear as I ran past them.

I pushed past people as I looked around frantically, I couldn't see a door anywhere-how did someone go in or out.

Where is it?

It was then that I realized that I had no idea how entering and exiting was done in this place as I headed for the window but then I was blocked.

The two guards stood before me, ''You will die here Circle as our master wants girl, there's really no need to run'' one said as he removed the glasses revealing glowing green eyes.

God.

Their eyes looked reptilian, even the way they blinked was like one, ''Let's make this quick brother'' the other quipped to his partner and they both smiled wolfishly.

''Yes brother...like the good old days''

The guards then started removing their rings one by one and I watched in horror as the guards began to shake uncontrollably.

"What, what are you doing?" I quavered.

They shook with such force I wondered whether their body wouldn't explode and slowly their nails began to grow.

''Oh my God!'' I whispered as the nails grew longer and larger in size until they scraped the floor.

One of the guards smiled revealing jagged teeth, almost like a shark, ''We will enjoy feasting on you'' the guard said.

He suddenly jumped at me with such speed I didn't have time to react and just as I thought the guard would reach me, a sudden bright light brightened the room.

The guards shrieked in pain and the people in the casino scattered.

''You are such an idiot!'' I heard Victoria yell as she came up behind me, her arm outstretched and light beams shone out of them.

Yes! Victoria the Demon!

''I told you to wait in the car'' she said rolling her eyes and I had never been happier to see the annoying girl in my life.

My heart was filled with butterflies as I looked at my savior but then noticed something different about her.

"You changed your hair?"

"Really Rose?"

"Sorry," I said quickly.

''Head for the window!'' Victoria told me quickly.

I nodded and made my way to the huge bronze window frame, I glanced at the huge structure and then looked through the glass –the city of Rome was still at the other side.

''Are we going to Italy?'' I shouted.

''W-what of course not, do you want the vampires to find us, just think of where we were and it'll appear'' Victoria scolded still shining her hands on the two, the guards for some reason couldn't bear the dazzling light.

''Rose!'' Victoria yelled, ''Stop daydreaming and open the window!'' this was all unbelievable.

I snapped back and glanced at the window –how did she expect me to do this?

Just will the image into reality?

''Victoria...I...I don't know how to'' I stammered but she then yelled, ''think of the driver!''

Like a switch, I remembered that motionless driver who never turned back and all of a sudden the image changed. Instead of a view of Rome, I was looking at the black Nissan on the side of the road.

Yes!

I smiled -finally a sign of normalcy, ''It worked'' I squealed in delight.

Victoria nodded, ''Get ready to run, I can't keep this up'' she yelled.

Everywhere was commotion as the people ran in all directions but confetti still fell down everywhere.

''Are you ready?'' Victoria called as she pushed her hand further and more light burst through explosively.  I nodded and grabbed hold of the window and pulled, it was surprisingly light as the structure opened, it was still an amazing thing to see.

''Stop her!'' I heard Ms. Apple scream and quickly I jumped out and sunlight bathed my skin as I stumbled onto the dusty road.

I glanced at the driver, he didn't even give me a look, I rolled my eyes ''I missed you too'' I whispered as I stood up and looked back.

''Run!'' Victoria said as she burst through literally thin air, I ran into the car followed closely by her.

''Owen drive!'' Victoria yelled and immediately the driver sparked on the car much to my surprise and sped off.
