VINCENT: "Am I to assume you are here to kill me then?'' I asked.
Peter laughed and responded, ''Well in your case, it's a bit more complicated than usual, the Vampire council are not exactly against us''
I eyed the grim hesitantly, ''It doesn't necessarily mean they are siding with you either'' I said.
Peter smiled, ''Well yes, with you vampires, all you really care about are yourselves. Its not surprising that the council's only aim for a millennia is which course is the best route to ensure your survival''
I shrugged and added, ''We are vampires after all''
He laughed maniacally.
'' True but time is drawing closer, certain plans are already in motion, you won't have long left to decide which side you are on. The Two Elements and their army have done considerable damage to our forces but the other faction of the SilverFoot seems to be more likely to join our cause''
I glanced at the marks on his face, they looked like fire, black fire tattooed on the side of face.
What did it mean?
Peter noticed my stare, ''Does it interest you?'' I ignored the question and he grinned.
Peter then continued, ''With the skilled wolves on our side it's only a matter of time before we turn the tide''
I heard of that clan-SilverFoot, a werewolf clan under a supposed powerful Alpha called Devin.
According to what I overheard from father during his calls, Devin was a werewolf of First Blood which meant he was a very old very powerful being. He led the SilverFoot clan, a group of ferocious shape shifters.
They were the longest living clan under the moon.
''Are you saying that the SilverFoot is divided?'' I asked, ''because I certainly did not know of this development''
Peter laughed, ''You didn't know of this, well I don't blame you, after all, you Peville's are all about secrecy even amongst family''
I couldn't deny his claim as I tried to hide my anger.
''What is really going on, why am I headed towards Moonsville, what is the end game?'' I asked.
Peter simply wagged his finger, ''Too much bones for one puppy to bite on young Peville. From what I understand you are almost as clueless as the other children but your fate rests solely on the verdict the council comes to so rest assured that we'll be seeing more of each other. I just hope that you are wise enough to join the winning side before it's too late''
With that Peter opened the door.
''Oh by the way, if I were you I'd just kill the girl, you know, no loose ends. Also you're most likely to pass through a town after here, don't bother...everyone is dead.'' he snickered and with that he was gone.
He vanished before he even got out of the car just at the same time as when Boris arrived apparently with no idea that I had a visitor.
''Master, you should close the door, I have finished the procedure'' he said.
I looked around for any sign of the Grimm though I knew he was long gone. His last comments told me that he witnessed the hunters attack earlier.
No loose ends, what he said, was he there?
I glanced at the shop and saw the girl limp towards the counter and look around in confusion then at her hand covered in blood and she screamed but by then we were long gone.
Boris handed me a glass cup filled with blood, ''No problems, she wouldn't remember a thing?'' I asked trying to be devoid of any expression that'd alert Boris.
Boris nodded, ''Yes sir, I trust I didn't keep you waiting too long?''
I shook the glass a little. Boris was an expert in getting blood cleanly, without little damage to humans, he was basically a vampire surgeon.
I smiled as I glanced out the window at the full moon glowing brightly as it emerged from the dark clouds, ''You were just on time Boris''.
