FRANK: Who would've ever thought my life would end up like this?''Sam now!'' Theo said as he entered the car and slammed the door, ''That won't hold them off for long'' he said as the driver stomped on the pedals and the car roared away at full speed.
I honestly had no problem that he was past the speed limit.
I glanced at Theophilus as he calmly pushed his staff into his clearly small suitcase-how was he able to fit that into his bag?
''I seem to be running out of power or they've gotten much stronger'' Theo said to me with a smile before extending his hand, ''My name is Theophilus by the way'' I looked at him like he was mad.
The driver then said, ''Yeah he is like that, just do what I do and go with the flow''
Theo laughed, ''I see your sense of humor is still intact Sam''
"Oh yeah don't forget about my life too" the driver responded as he steered left.
"You're doing fine Sam, don't be such a downer. Remember what I said?" He patted Sam's shoulder, "Just get Frank here home and you will never see me again, that's all"
''Oh is that all?'' Sam grunted, '' I mean I never thought that this job would get me so screwed and yet here I am''
"Yes, here you are breathing"
"Whose fault do you think it is in the first place that I could be dead tomorrow ?" Sam snapped out angrily. "Just two days ago we were chased by a black cat, a black cat. Me living is never a guarantee with you around."
"I doubt that," Theo said with a coy grin "If anything you're likely to die today but don't worry with me by your side you'll likely survive."
"Likely..."
"Well, I'm not at full power as you can see and do you know why?"
"Because you haven't eaten?" Sam said.
"Because I haven't eaten." Theo replied in the next second "If you had stopped at that restaurant like I told you."
What are these two doing?
"How can you expect me to stop when we are being chased?"
"I said we were ordering fast food didn't I? How long did you think we'd wait?" Theo said irritated.
"Don't make it look like it's my fault!"
"Well, it is!"
Were they serious, a fight...now of all places.
"You were the one who pulled me into all of this. I could be with my Mum right about this time watching Game of Thrones." Sam angrily reached below his seat and fished out a bundle of money.
Game of Thrones? Am I hearing this right?
"This...all this isn't worth this money." I watched as the kid threw it out the window.
Once flung, the notes scattered out like leaves.
Silence enveloped the place.
"That's Two hundred thousand," Theo said silently.
"I know that!" Sam snapped without looking back.
"You're regretting that decision aren't you?"
"Yes...maybe after all this we can come back"
