Chapter 100

Allie's POV:

It was late on a Thursday night. Patrick was getting ready to leave early tomorrow for a two week road trip to Canada.

The doorbell rang at 8:37pm and I carried Tyler in my arms to the door with him almost asleep on my shoulder. I opened the door and there stood Kaitlynn.

"What do you want?" I asked not wanting to see her face at my house ever again

"I need to talk to Patrick."

"Patrick isn't available tight now." I said

"Fine, I'll wait right here until he is."

I rolled my eyes and yelled, "Patrick!"

He came to the front door and was shocked to see Kate there.

"Hey Patty." She said half smiling

"Why are you here?" He asked

"We need to talk... Alone." She said

"Whatever you have to say you will be saying in front of my wife." Patrick said putting his arm around me

"Okay, but don't let her hurt me." She said

"Just spit it out." I said

"Well, Patrick... After you dumped me, I discovered that I am pregnant.." She said smiling

Patrick's face turned white and my face turned red.

"When? How?" Patrick asked

"It was five months ago. I wanted to wait to tell you until I was past miscarriage point."

"This isn't possible..." Patrick said

I gave Patrick a look fighting back the tears.

"Could this be even a little true?" I asked him

"No!" He said upset

"I'm going to need you to get the hell out of my house. And I'm going to need to see some serious legit paperwork stating that Patrick is indeed your baby daddy. Until then, don't talk to us." I said slamming and locking the door

I went and out Tyler in his bed and gave him a light kiss. I left his room and saw Patrick standing by the front door in shock, pale, confused.

I just walked up to him and I hugged him so tight.

"I'm so sorry Als.." He said

"I believe you. I am on your side. I love you." I said

He cried and said, "Thank you..."

We moved to the couch and he laid on my lap and he said, "We had sex a few times... The first time was horrible. I didn't know what to do because she wasn't you. I wanted it to be better so a few days later we did it again. We had sex three times. The last time was about five months ago... Als, I know she had that birth control that goes in your arm. I know I used a condom and I know it didn't break.. But what if it is my baby?"

I started crying and I said, "Even though I despise her, I love you-no matter what. So if she is really pregnant I'll love that baby because that baby is part you."

He said, "I'm probably going to go to hell for saying this... I don't think I could love that baby knowing she's the mom.."

"Hey, stop it. I know you and just like me, you hate her. But trust me, you'll love this baby. But I have a feeling she got knocked up and is coming to you for money.."

I slept in his arms all night long. He woke up to go to Canada with the team. I woke up early with him and I said, "I love you so much and nothing will ever change that. Text me when you get there. Good luck. I love you Patrick Timothy Kane." I said

"Thank you, I love you Allison Marie." He said kissing me goodbye

Patrick left to go to the UC, to get on a bus, to go to the airport, to go to Calgary.

I went back to bed and had a hard time falling asleep without Patrick there. I managed to fall back asleep until nine when Luke got up.

It was a quiet few days here, I texted Patrick a lot. The kids had school and I was home alone. Tomorrow the Hawks played the Maple Leafs. I called Donna and my mom and asked if they could come to Chicago. They agreed and were getting the next flight out. I booked a flight for tomorrow morning to Toronto.

That night at around midnight the moms were here.

The kids were all in bed and I had told them I was going to see daddy for a night.

"So what, you can't be apart from my son for more than four days?" Donna asked laughing

"They're playing Toronto... I need to be there.. " I said

Donna hugged me and said, "I'm so glad you're my daughter."

My mom laughed and joined and said, "Me too, but I actually gave birth to her."

"Hey, you are both my moms and I love you both." I said

"We're glad to hear that because you parents are moving to Buffalo!" Donna said

"What?!" I asked shocked

"We travel so much and the Kane's are family. You spend your summers there and we want to see you more."

I hugged my mom as I was so happy.

The next morning at six my mom got up and took me to the airport.

"You know you're crazy right?" She asked on the way there

"So I've been told." I smiled

She laughed and said, "Do you think it's all worth it? Everything you've given up because of him?"

"One hundred percent... Patrick comes before everything. I would give it all up for him. I love him."

"I know you do and I'm really happy you guys are back together... I love you both so much."

"I love you too mommy. Thank you for everything. Now I gotta go get on a plane." I said

"Good luck baby, I love you and I want you to text me when you get there.

"Thanks, love you too!" I said grabbing all my bags and walking into the airport

I had my team backpack, clothes team bag, hockey bag and stick bag. I got on my plane and took a cab to the rink. I put all my stuff in the locker next to Patrick's. I then went to the hotel and knocked on Patrick's door.

"Hey roomie." I said

He pulled me I to a hug.

"What are you doing here?" He asked

"Playing." I said

"So we better start our ore game rituals since the bus is leaving in twenty minutes."

I dropped all my stuff and he picked me up and we started making out. We were running ten minutes late for the bus. Patrick's tie was untied around his neck and I was just a mess. We ran to the lobby and got on the bus.

"Sorry we're late coach." Patrick said

"Hastings, what are you doing here?" Q  asked

"Hastings?" I asked as I haven't heard that in a while

"Yeah, Hastings that same girl who was always late when she was sneaking around with that bad boy Kaner." He said

Shit. Things just got awkward.

"Sorry Q.. Some habits did hard." I said

"Just don't do anything anything in the back of the bus." Tazer yelled joking

"We're glad you're here Als." Q said

I smiled at him and went to sit by Patrick.

I tied his tie for him and fixed my hair.

We arrived at the arena.
