Days and weeks passed and Shikas continued to meet and spend beautiful time together in Shilpa's vanity. One day Shilpa was on her set and Vikas was nowhere around. She heard two spotboys talking, one said, "Vikas sir pata nhi kaha hai.. kab se dhoodh raha hu pata nhi, mil hi nhi rhe!" Other replied, "Arey bhai, vo dekh Shilpa Shinde baithi hai... Waha jaa kar dekh, uss k aas paas hi to hota hai.. Tharki kahi ka!!" He said, "Arey nhi yaar.. Aise mat bol! Itne bade log hai vo... Aur vaise bhi un dono k beech mein kuchh nhi hai". Hearing this the other one said emphatically, "Oye! Lagta hai tujhe pata nhi... Oh teri duty to sirf din mein hoti hai na, shayad isliye!!.Yeh banda to apni har actress k saath shuru ho jata hai!!" The other man asked in curiosity, "Kya nhi pata bhai mujhe??" He answered, "Jab bhi madam van mein hoti hai na, to Vikas sir bhi van mein chale jate hai! Dono ghanto bhar andar rehte hain, Bhagwaan hi jaane kya karte hain!! Awaazein bhi nhi aa rhi hoti! Aur to aur raat ko to agar tumhe Vikas sir kahi na mile to vo pakka Shilpa mam ki vanity mein honge!" Being awestruck, the other on asked, "Sach mein!!" He readily said, "Aur nhi to kya main jhooth bolunga?! Mujhe to lagta hai ki news wale sahi kehte hai.. In dono mein pakka koi lafda hai!!" The other Spotboy agreed. Shilpa listened to the entire conversation quietly and was very upset about all the gossiping. She did her scene and told the director that she wasn't feeling well and needed some rest, so she went to her vanity.

Shilpa went to her vanity, sat on the couch and searched on google "Shilpa Shinde Vikas Gupta" The top results showed the pics of vikas kissing her forehead in BB11. In the news section, the top headlines read,
"Kya Shilpa Shinde aur Vikas Gupta shaadi karne wale hai??"
"Vikas ki maa ko Shilpa bahu mazoor, diya aashirwaad"

She gets even more upset by looking at all the negative publicity and comments.
