"I can't sleep I can't sleep I can't sleep!!", Kat whisper-yelled to herself as she kicked her blankets off. She immediately felt cold and wrapped herself again.
Kat was in the guest room because she knew Layla was in a bad mood. Layla had threatened to kick her out if she did or said anything, so Kat got her stuff and left. Kat didn't blame her. If all her friends were going somewhere without her, she'd be mad too.
She rolled over and grabbed her phone, logging onto Random Chat.
Penguin: r u up
ChocolateBar: yep
Penguin: we haven't talked in a long time
ChocolateBar: yeh sorry bout that life's just been busy
Penguin: same. Got any plans for tomorrow?
ChocolateBar: going over to grandparents house
Penguin: fun
ChocolateBar: wbu
Penguin: going on a trip with friends
It's not a lie, at least, D.O thought.
ChocolateBar: nice
Penguin: yeah well u should prob get some sleep gn
ChocolateBar: lol can't sleep rn but gn anyway
D.O smiled knowing that he wasn't the only one who couldn't sleep.
"Turn your phone off!", Kai groaned. D.O turned his phone off and quickly fell asleep. He was excited for the trip tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Kat tossed and turned continuously, eventually submitting into a restless sleep.

"TIME TO WAKE UP!!", Lydia yelled, barging into the spare room, where Kat was sleeping.
"What the heck! How'd you even get in here." Kat grumbled, slowly getting up.
"Suho opened it for me. Wake up sleepyhead! Everyone is up and ready to go already!" Lydia whacked Kat's head with a pillow, laughing.
Kat grabbed the pillow and launched it at Lydia. "I'm coming, ok?!!!"
She had literally only known her for a couple months yet they had practically become sisters.
Kat quickly dressed and brought her duffel bag outside. Sure enough, everyone was waiting for her.
"Sorry...", Kat said, embarrassed.
"You should be! Now hurry up!" Quinn rolled her eyes.
"Why didn't anyone wake me up earlier?"
"I tried to, but Kris wouldn't let me or anyone else wake you up-", Tao started to say before Kris promptly hit Tao with a couch cushion, looking away. Kat got the feeling of déjà vu.
"Thanks, Kris."
"Y-yeah."
Everyone piled into the car and Xiumin drove to the airport. There, a very handsome guy with a trademark box smile stood waiting for his girlfriend.
"TAE!!!" Kaitlyn squealed as she ran straight to the guy she loved so much.
"Heyyyyyyyy did you miss me?"
