Reunion

Sehun, remember? So many years ago, you promised that you'd protect me. Where are you now? Kat wondered. She had known for a while that she had met Sehun before, but she never had the chance to talk to him about that.

What about you, Baekhyun? Didn't you promise that you'd care for me? Like you did that day? Wipe away my tears? Tears started to fall on Kat's face.

I also miss Kai, Chen, Xiumin, Chanyeol, Lay, Tao, D.O, Luhan, Suho and...

"Kris?" Kat wondered out loud. She shook her head. She was seeing things.

"Yeah, it's me. Let's get you out of here." The mirage replied, freeing her.

Kat hugged him tightly, determined to never let him go. Kris gently lifted her off him. "Uh, Kat? We don't really have time for this."

"Where were you guys? I was so scared."

She looked up at him and Kris saw her tears.

"I know, we're sorry." He replied, a little perplexed. Kris awkwardly wiped away her tears. Then he grabbed her hand and lead her out.

"Where are the others?"

Kris counted on his fingers. "Poor Lay right now is distracting Yoon Ji, Baekhyun, Chen and Luhan are our escape route, Kai and Suho are dealing with the people outside,  Sehun, Xiumin, Tao are right outside the door and D.O is hacking into the control system."

Kat was surprised that all 12 of them had come to rescue her. Wait... that's not twelve...

"What about Chanyeol?"

"You haven't met him yet?"

"No, of course not!"

"What? I'm pretty sure he was your guard thing."

"Really?!! Why didn't he let me out?" Ha! I was right! So that was Chanyeol. No wonder he was so familiar...

"Our plan was that he'd just check to see if you were alive. Yoon Ji still thinks he's a real guard."

"Yeah. Hurry up. Let's leave quickly." Kris said.

Kat shook her head. "There are others trapped in here, I'm sure. Maybe even my brother."

Kris nodded and called D.O. "Where are the other captives?" He asked.

"Go down the hall from where you are and turn left and take the third right exit. From there, take the fourth left exit and open the fifth door."

"Alright."

They stepped out of the room and went towards the other captives with Sehun, Xiumin and Tao.

"Where'd you get these weapons?" Kat asked incredulously.

"They were always ours" Tao casually said, spinning two nunchakus.

"Choose" Xiumin motioned towards the box of weapons.

Kat gingerly picked up a navy blue ninja sword.

"Why not guns?" She asked.

"There are gadgets here that shut down bullets immediately by a magnetic pull."

"Why don't you have a weapon, Xiumin?"

"I'd rather fight with my hands."

"Let's go."

But before they could turn, a swarm of guards rushed at them.

"Whatever you do, don't kill them!" Sehun shouted over the commotion.
