Tao's Secret

Once Luhan had returned consciousness, they all drove to Kat's grandma's house.

"Grandmaaaa~~ we're here!" Kat shouted.

"You're back! About time!" Her grandma welcomed.

"Indeed we are, Mrs..?" Suho asked.

"Oh just call me Grandma!"

"Ok grandma!!" Baekhyun grinned.

"Aren't you just the cutest puppy!"

"Uh grandma we're hungry..."

"Oh, so sorry. Here, come inside, all of you."

They went inside to find a huge table full of food waiting for them. There were all kinds of meat, veggies and rice.

"Eat up!"

"Thank you!"

The next thirty minutes were completely silent because everyone was eating. The only sounds that could be heard were "mmm!"s of appreciation.

The boys went into the yard to work while the girls worked inside the house.

"Hi grandpa!" Kat greeted as her grandpa walked down the stairs.

Her grandpa was a proud man, but he melted at the sight of his precious granddaughter.

"I missed you so much!"

"Me too grandpa!"

"Are these your friends?"

"Yes. My guy friends are outside."

"Boyfriends?"

"No, not yet grandpa."

"Come!" Kat's grandma beckoned for her grandpa to join her in the balcony. The girls went back to work.

"Which one do you think is the best for Kat?" Kat's grandma asked.

"Hm.. I think that strong one. He could protect Kat." Her grandpa pointed at Xiumin who was working hard.

"Those two are charming too." Kat's grandma pointed to Baekhyun and Luhan who were flirting with the girls.

"No! You're only saying that because they're charming to you. Kat needs a reliable guy, not a flirt."

"They're all good candidates."

They both stayed there, watching Exo work until the sun started to set.

"Dinnertime!" Kat's grandma called. Everyone came running.

"Where's the food?" Lydia asked.

"I have ten full packs of meat for you guys to cook over the fire and sweet potatoes for dessert. There's a lake nearby that you can go to!"

Hungry, nobody protested. Quickly, they travelled to the stream and got a fire started. The meat cooked very well, and soon, everyone ate to their heart's content.

"Let's play some campfire games!"

So the long list of games started, from Yaja game to the sand pile game, you name it.

"Can I talk to you alone for a second?" Tao whispered to Kaitlyn.

"Right now?" Kaitlyn asked uneasily.

"Yeah. Just follow me. I promise this is the last time." Tao pleaded. 

They both surreptitiously got up and walked away from the fire. Quinn noticed and furrowed her brow, but said nothing.

A few minutes later: "Where's Kaitlyn?" Taehyung asked.

"Uh she had to go to the washroom. Maybe she lost her way, I'll go get her." Quinn offered.
