final note + q&a

first off, i just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who made it here to the end of soulmates. thank you to those of who have been following it since the beginning (especially because of my very sporadic, almost once a month updates). i hold this specific story so near and dear to my heart, and all of the votes and comments popping up in my notifications really made my day.

i still remember making up the entire plot of this within thirty minutes at five am during summer break, and... now it's all over.

i sound so fucking sappy right now, but whether or not you've been reading my stories since i first published 'you' in june of last year or you only started this book last week, thank you.

now for the questions

what were the other endings you had in mind?
actually, i had planned for soulmates only to be 20-25 chapters at most. it was going to end around the time of sean's coma, and....i was gonna kill him off. BUT I DIDN'T since i would've hated myself and yall would too fjskskd

tips for writing sean fanfics?
oof i don't think i'm that great of a writer but! my biggest tip is to have a massive document where you have every single detail of the story planned out from character descriptions to overall plot to an outline of each chapter; at least that's what i did for both my books and it really helps when writing. also think outside of the box!! make your story interesting with some sort of crazy plot twist (hehe yall know i love my plot twists) or something like that

are you planning on writing any more stories?
for a while i thought soulmates would be my last story on here (oops) but i just love writing so much, so yes! i will have at least one story coming up and it'll be a murder mystery sean fic... so get excited

how you find ideas for your stories?
for characters, i use people from my real life as inspo, and for certain moments, i just write things that i wish happened in my life lmfao

tips on getting more reads?
uhhhhh idk tbh i have no idea how i got reads on any my stories
fun fact: i never thought i'd ever finish a story on here. the day i posted the first chapter of 'you', i didn't have a plot or anything. i almost deleted it within a few hours.
