Mark's POV
Y/n hasn't even been here any longer than five hours and she already has done so much. She didn't stop after helping me stuttering for my date.
She told me what type flowers to buy, what cloths to wear, even how to style my hair.
She's actually helping me tie my tie at this very moment.
Why? Why is she doing this? I haven't even known her that long and she's helping me so much.
Even though her help makes me me happy it also makes me sad.
She's helping me try to get with someone else when I want to ask out her. I should just suck up my pride and ask her out.
"I was so happy when you said you actually owned a tie that wasn't clip-on." She laughs.
"Hey! I always wear a real tie." I tell her.
"And who ties it?" She asks.
I look down at the ground ashamed that out of all the skills I have, tying a tie is not on the list.
"...Tyler." I mumble as I think to how I would fumble with the tie for hours trying to get it right.
I even watched tons of videos on the internet to try and learn.
"How come you know how to?" I ask her curiosity.
"My father had to wear a tie to work and my mom wasn't always around to tie it for him." She tells me and I nod.
"It's an impossible." I say making her smile.
"Aaaaaannnnndddd...Done!" She cheers and steps back from me.
"How did I do?" She asks in a worried tone.
I turn around to face the mirror behind me. My eyes go wide as I stare and the perfectly tied tie around my neck.
"How?" I ask amazed.
"Is it bad?" I can see her sad expression in the mirror.
"No," I look back at her. "I've never seen a tie, tied so beautifully." I tell her making a slight blush appear on her cheeks
"It's not nice to lie to people." She says, looking down at the floor.
"Then it's a good thing I'm trying the truth."
My whole appearance is perfect.
The dark suit goes great with the dark, wine red, tie. My hair is a bit flooffy, but somehow looks better than usual. I'm also wearing my new circular glasses.
I look like a sufisicated thirty-five year old with their whole life planed out.
It's amazing how a suit and tie can change your whole appearance.
"Thank you so much Y/n." I smile at the girl in front of me.
"No problem." She says and starts to walk out the room.
"Wait!" I grab her arm as I remember what I bought her when we were out getting the flowers.
"I have something for you." I let goof her wrist and dash over to my closet and pull out the beautiful dark f/c dress I bought.
I also pull out the black flats to match.
"I bought these for you to wear tonight." I tell her was I walk back over to where she is standing. "Don't want you to be the only one not dressed all fancy like at the place we're going." She smiles brightly as I hand the dress to her.
"Thank you so much Mark. I don't wear dresses normally, but I'll make an exception for tonight." She says and rushes into the bathroom that is connected to my room.
She is going to look stunning in that dress. I remember seeing it and knowing at first glance that it would look perfect on her.
It just had Y/n written all over it.
The door to the bathroom opens and she walks out.
The dress goes down to the floor, only grazing the floor a bit. It's shoulderless but has short sleeves and the back is open a bit.
I feel my face heat up and I force myself to look away.
"Here a-are the mat-matching shoes." I hand her the flats and she slips them on real quick.
"You look amazing." I tell her, my breath I taken away.
"Th-thanks." A very light pink spreads across her cheeks.
The room goes silent as we awkwardly stand there.
"Well, we don't want to be late for your date!" Y/n breaks the silence and walks towards the door.
"Cupid Y/n and her victim Mark away!" She says as she points her finger in the air and slightly jigs down the hall.
I almost completely forgot about the date I have to go on.
Why can't it be with her?
Because I'm too scared to ask, especially after she just helped me out so much to get ready for this one.
I also don't want to make things weird when she says no.
"Mark? You coming?" Y/n's shouting from down stairs brings me out of my trance.
"Be down in just a second!" I yell and grab the flowers and my keys off the dresser before rushing out my room and down the stairs.
Once at the bottom is see Y/n petting Chica on the head.
"Ready to go?" I ask making her look up from the fur ball in front of her.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that question?" She asks and I shrug.
"Not like I have much of a choice." I say.
"You're right. You don't have a choice." She laughs as she open the door and steps out into the outside world.
I pat Chica on the head and then follow the h/c haired girl out the door and over to the car.
Oh you idiot Mark. What have you just gotten yourself into?
I smile at her before opening the door and getting into the car.
You've fallen for a girl you barely know and are letting stay at your house. The least you could do after kind of hitting her with your car. Good thing you swerved.
Now you're going on a date that she pretty much planned and you are too nice to say you don't want to do it.
"Awkward date here I come." An empty laugh escapes my lips as I pull out of the driveway.
                              And again I ask myself...
What have I just gotten myself into.
                              ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Hey guys! Yeah I know it's a bad chapter. It's pretty much just a filler that leads to the date that happens in the next chapter.
Honestly I thought this chapter was going to be the date until I started to write and suddenly I was already at a little over 1000 words.
I still hope you enjoyed this chapter anyways.
If you did vote and comment your favorite chapter so far.
See ya' in the next chapter.
