Mark's POV

We reach the fancy restaurant and exit the car. I can feel my palms grow sweaty as I think about having to talk to this girl.
I really don't want to be here at all. I wouldn't mind if I was here with Y/n on a date.

We come up to the door and stop.
"You ready?" Y/n asks also stopping.
"As ready as I can be." I sigh and open the door for her.
"Name?" A lady asks as she walks up to us.
"Fischbach." I tell her and she nods.
"This way." I begin to follow her and Y/n waits behind for someone to take her to her seat.
"Good luck!" She whisper yells to me, just loud enough for me to hear before I'm out of earshot.

"Here is your table Sir." I thank the women and take a seat.
She places a menu on the table and goes to walk away before I stop her.
"If a lady comes in here looking for Mark can you send her over here?" I ask politely.
"Of course Sir." She then places down another menu and walks away to seat someone else.

I begin to fidget with my fingers. When movement not to far away from me catches my eye.
I look up and see Y/n flailing her arms around as she sits scruple tables away from me.
I chuckle at how cute she looks and wave back.
She's about four tables away and has a clear view of where I'm sitting.

"Mark?" I hear a familiar voice from behind me speak.
I turn around and am faced with Amanda, my date.
"Amanda!" I say and stand up.
I give her a hug before pulling her seat out for her and pushing it in.
"What a gentlemen." She giggles.
I blush of embarrassment before saying, "Th-thanks."

And so the nightmare begins.

I open up my menu and gaze over the different food options.
After looking through the menu a bit I settle on chicken and dumplings.
"What are you getting?" She asks as she sees me set down my menu.
"The chicken and dumplings." I tell her, surprisingly I don't stutter.
"I'm getting the steak, potatoes, and peas." I nod.
"So what d-do you do for a living?" I ask.
The couple of times I've seen Amanda she has never told me what she does exactly.
"Catering." She smiles brightly.
"You?" Something in her eyes changes. Maybe what I see is fascination or excitement, but it doesn't feel like that.
"O-online marketi-ing." I lie.
Her smile fade away for a split second before shooting back into a smiley state.
"That sounds really cool!" I nod.

"Are you two ready to order?" A waiter asks, walking over to us.
"Yes-s we are. I would like the chicken and dumplings and she would like the steak dinner." He nods and writes down what I said.
"And to drink?"
"I wou-"
"Two glasses of wine." Amanda cuts me off.
The waiter nods again before walking away. I look back at her with wide eyes.
"I-I..uhhhh..." The words seem to be locked in my vocal cords, unable to escape.
"Hmm?" She hums with a fake innocence that could be spotted a mile away.
"N-nothing." I manage to get out and sigh.

Until now I have not noticed want she is wearing. Amanda has on a tight red dress that hugs every inch of her body. It's also very short. Her hair is in a 'perfect' bun and she has on what looks like diamond earrings.
She also has on a sparkling petal and diamond necklace.

I wonder what Y/n would look in that. Stop being creepy Mark! That's just weird.
Besides, you're here on a date with Amanda, not Y/n.

I get brought out of my daydream when my phone buzzes in my pocket.
I pull it out and see that Y/n has texted.
"S-sorry." I apologize and unlock my phone to read the text.

Y/n💜 - Compliment her! I know for an absolute fact that you haven't even thought of doing that yet.

I blush and look over at Y/n to see her smiling in my direction.
She has a glass of what looks like Peepsi (A/n Only the name brands here lol) and some chicken fingers.
I hold in a chuckle and respond.

Mark - How did you know?

Y/n💜 - Love whispers to me~

She quickly responds and I told in another chuckle.

Mark - Okay, 'Cupid' Y/n

I then click the power button and place it back into my pocket.
"S-sorry about that." I apologize again.
"It's fine." She smiles brightly.
The waiter then walks over and places our food and the wine glasses on the table.
"Thanks." I say and he walks away.
After a moment I decide to do what Y/n told me to do.
"Y-you lo-ok really nice
Ama-anda." I compliment and feel my face grow hot.
She giggle, "Thanks, you look pretty handsome yourself Mark."
I feel my face grow hotter and thank her.
The air grows tense as we quietly and awkwardly eat our food.
Amanda then places her silverware done on her plate and looks at me.
"Something wr-rong?" I ask.
She looks me dead in the eyes.
"I know you're a YouTuber Mark." My face goes pale.
"What do you me-mean?" I look at her in disbelief.
"I'm not stupid Mark. I know you're a gamer and I'm a huge fangirl."

Of course this girl knows who I am. I couldn't be on a date with someone who doesn't know who I am.

"O-oh." She smiles a huge scary smile.
"I know everything about you Mark; I know where you live, your whole life." I gulp.
"Wh-what?"
I then notice that what I saw in her eyes wasn't excitement or fascination, it was pure crazy and lust.
"Uh-umm." I grow uncomfortable. "I-I don't think th-this'll work." I say as politely as I possibly can.
Her eyes go wide and she looks angry. She stands for her seat and walk over to me and whispers into my ear, "I won't be gone for long."
My eyes go wide again and she walks away from the table and out the restaurant.

What the f***?
