Mark's POV

"Thank you so much for letting me stay over Ethan." I say as he hands me a few blankets.

"No problem. Are you sure you want the couch? You can have my room."

I shake my head.

"No, it was kind enough for you to even let me stay here."

I begin to zone out on the blankets.

"If you-uh...need anything at any time during the night, don't hesitate to wake me up."

I nod.

There's then suddenly a knock on the door.

"Coming!" Ethan shouts, jogging up to answer it.

I continue to stare at the blankets when I hear my name.

"Is Mark Fischbach here?"

My head shoots in the direction of the voice.

There at the door stands a  police officer.

I stand and and quickly shuffle over.

"Something wrong officer?" I ask.

"I just wanted to bring you the belongings that survived the car fire." He says.

I look at the items in his hands.

Tears feel like they're going to fall again.

He's holding Y/n's mask from Christmas and her phone.

"Thank you."

I take them from his hands.

"No problem Sir."

And with that he's gone.

Ethan shuts the door and the two of us head back over to the couch to take a seat.

I set the mask on the table and stare at her phone.

"Do you know her password?" Ethan asks.

I chuckle.

"Y/n never had a password on her phone."

I hit the power button and am surpirsed when it actually turns on.

The homescreen picture hurts my heart.

Its a picture of Y/n and I holding hands on a bench in the park.

A fan took it and then sent it to us on Twitter.

"Is it right for me to go through her phone?" I more ask myself than Ethan.

"Maybe you'll be able to find out what happened."

I nod in agreement.

The first thing I notice out of place is her notepad being on the homescreen.
