A/N - FAQ

Dolls,

I've received quite a few questions, some of them repeated, from some of you, and I've decided to briefly address them here.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE, because this isn't an actual update, please consider staying and reading through, so that you don't ask the same questions going forward.

1. How old are the main characters?

Rya: 23+

Peter, Jason & Kris: Are all within the same age range as Rya. Meaning 22-24 years of age.

Derek, Beverly & Will: Keep reading, you'll find out.

2. I hate Beverly, why don't you just kill off her character?

What?! Err, first of all, life generally doesn't work like that, and secondly, Bev is a human being who deserves happiness too. So that's a no, Beverly lives.

3. I like Will, can you make it so that he's happy?

The story isn't even finished yet, so let's all take a chill pill and relax. I'm equally emotionally invested in all my characters, and despite what may or may not happen in this story, It is my wish that everyone, including Will, be happy.

4. More background on Will?

I first introduced Will's character in my other story Jasper's Claim. That book is not related in anyway to this story, but feel free to check it out if you haven't already done so.
There will also be more insight about Will and his past later on in this story.

5. I'm confused about what's going on in this story.

This is book two of the Bad Girl Series. You'll find book one on my profile page, it's titled Rya's Forbidden Diary.

6. How did Derek and Beverly meet?

There's a short story on my profile titled; Under the Mistletoe, you'll read about how they met there.

7. Can you give more insight into the other characters thoughts?

Yes & No.

This is a tough one, because this story is being crafted using the limited third person POV, which is a writing style whereby a story is narrated from a single character's POV which, in this case is Rya's.

The reason I decided to use this type of narrative is for the sake of consistency. If you've read book one, Rya's Forbidden Diary, which I hope you have, you know that that book was written solely from Rya's POV, the first person narrative.

Therefore the natural progression for this story, would have been to follow the style I used in book 1, since this book is a continuation of that story, but I decided to switch things up by assuming a third person narrative, yet, still keeping things the same by unfolding the story through Rya's thoughts, feelings and experiences.

HOWEVER, I will break, from time to time, from Rya's POV, to give you a sneak peek inside another characters mind, but I'll only do this IF what's in that characters mind is something that cannot and will not be deciphered by their actions later in the book.

So, moving forward you'll get to see, on rare occasions, Derek's POV.

Also, AND THIS IS AN INSIDE SCOOP, THE FIRST AND ONLY ONE YOU'LL GET FROM ME, you'll get to read a few scenes from Will and even Bev's POV.

Please be rest assured, that whatever insight you're hoping to gain from other characters POVS will, sooner or later, be revealed through their actions and/or words to Rya.
