[ 1.9 | WOLF'S BANE ]

ONCE SCOTT FLED his bedroom through the open window, Daisy and Stiles raced from the home in search of their best friend forced into a werewolf induced fury. There was no way of knowing what the boy would do under the influence of the full moon, and they had to find him before something terrible happened.

Searching the small city for a wolfed out teenager was easier said than done. Stiles was dead set on combing every inch of the preserve, while Daisy wanted to check on Allison's whereabouts. She figured that Scott would seek out the girl in his impaired state, as he did the last full moon, but her plan would have to wait.

When they arrived at the edge of the preserve, flashing lights and piercing sirens filled the air surrounding what appeared to be another crime scene. Stiles was sufficiently worried about his father. He knew that the man would be the first to arrive, and with Scott on the loose, he had no idea if his father would end up being his friend's intended target. Fortunately, the sheriff was found shortly after they arrived, safe and sound.

The following night, Daisy learned of her two best friends engaging in possibly their stupidest plan yet. Scott and Stiles decided to play a game of cat and mouse with Kate Argent, while Derek chased what he thought to be the Alpha through the industrial district of the town. To say the scheme was completely insane would be an understatement.

Somehow they still managed to discover useful information in the chaos. Derek found a symbol connected to his sister's investigation into who killed their entire family. A symbol that just so happened to be the same one engraved onto a necklace owned by Allison.

Daisy found it harder and harder to believe that the girl was entirely ignorant to her family's extracurricular activities. But why would she own an item associated with the murder of the Hales? Either Allison was exceptionally oblivious, or she was an incredible liar. Daisy personally hoped for the former.

The Fulton girl adjusted her maroon cardigan that swished around her hips as she moved. Her grey booted heels clicked against the concrete walkway that led to the entrance of the high school, while Scott and Stiles followed closely behind. They busied themselves conversing about the topic of obtaining Allison's necklace for the sole purpose of discovering who the Alpha was.

"This is gonna be impossible, you know." Scott practically groaned, as he pushed through the double doors of the building.

"Why don't you just ask her if you can borrow it?" Stiles questioned, repositioning the straps of his backpack.

     "How?"

"It's easy. You just say, "Hey, Allison, can I borrow your necklace to see if there's anything on it or in it that can lead me to an Alpha werewolf that I need to kill in order to get back together with you?""
