CHAOS ENSUED AFTER Jackson departed from the McCall residence. Scott and Stiles chased after the reptilian creature, eager to reach the transformed teenager before Derek. Despite being wrong about Lydia, the Alpha was still out for blood. He did not care who the kanima was anymore. He felt the need to kill the creature before it could kill anyone else.
Although Daisy wanted to go with her best friends to help wrangle Jackson, she knew that the situation would become extremely dangerous. She was not a werewolf like Scott, nor was she an archery champion like Allison. She could not take on a supernatural creature with an unknown amount of abilities. She was human. She did not stand a chance.
So Daisy decided to accompany Allison with the task of taking Lydia home. The Martin girl had been traumatized by the situation at Scott's. Not only did the group lie to her, several times, she had to witness her ex-boyfriend turn into a giant lizard. Or maybe she didn't. Daisy no longer knew what Lydia had or had not figured out about the world around them. With the crazy events of her life began to spiral out of control, Daisy could not spend as much time as she wanted with her other friends. Especially when they knew nothing of their new normal.
She needed to change that. Daisy could not let the supernatural consume her life. She was human, and she should be able to live that way.
The next day, Daisy arrived at the high school full of worry and apprehension. She had stayed up late that night to make sure Scott and Stiles were alright and learned more than she ever wanted to. The two boys followed Jackson to one of Danny's favorite places in town, The Jungle, otherwise known as the only gay club within a hundred miles. The Whittemore boy went after his best friend and paralyzed half the building in his path. No one knew the reason as to why, but fortunately Jackson did not get the chance.
Scott and Stiles apprehended the transformed kanima when he turned back into his human body. And much to Daisy's dismay, the boys devised a plan that could land them in a lot of trouble.
To ignore the possible imprisonment of her best friends, Daisy maneuvered through the crowded hallways of the school building. She had not spotted Scott all morning, even though she knew he showed just to make the situation with Jackson seem less suspicious. She also failed to see Isaac or the other two members of Derek's pack, which she was incredibly grateful for.
Daisy's hand raised to scratch at the five Band-Aids beneath the sleeve of her pale pink sweater, still sore from her encounter with the female Beta. She continued in the direction of her locker when an individual materialized to her left. Daisy jumped at their sudden appearance and released a startled breath. "God, don't do that!"
