She wondered how they didn't realise it sooner. The reason Dylan wasn't killed the first time he was kidnapped, was simply because they needed him alive, that much was clear to them. And now they knew for what exactly, they wanted 'the ləekna', whatever that is.

James being the smart guy he is, he googled the word, only to find that it was an Icelandic word that meant 'cure'. And then it suddenly hits her, she remembers all the nights when the brown eyed boy told her about his parents. She remembers how he told her they were both scientists, so 'ləekna' was probably something they were working on before they were killed, maybe even the reason they were killed.

Looking around his room, she searches for something she knew he carried around all the time. And at that moment, she wishes he didn't currently have it with him. Finding a small box hidden behind his clothes, she pulls it out and pulls off the lid of the box.

"This is where we'll find the ləekna..." she breathes out, pulling out the small almost torn picture from the box.

Walking towards her, he stands beside her and peeks down at the old picture she was holding.

"What does this house have anything to do with the ləekna?" He asks in confusion.

"Wait...I think I saw this house before..." he mumbles, taking the picture from her to have a closer look.

She bites down on her bottom lip as she waits for him to finally put two and two together. She was sure that by doing this she was going against Dylan's whole plan. But where has this plan been when they were kidnapped? She has to do what she has to do, simple.

"This is the house from the news thirteen years ago..."

He finally looks up at her in utter confusion. She wasn't sure whether he couldn't put two and two together or he didn't want to.

"He was the kid that killed his parents...?" He asks in shock, his voice a whisper.

"James-"

She starts, but he takes a step back when she tries placing a hand on his shoulder. She couldn't really blame him, for the duration of the couple weeks they've known him and his friends, they were never really honest. Now for a secret this big to suddenly unravel before him, his reaction was understandable to her.

"His name isn't even Adams, is it..." He says in realisation.

"James, let me-"

"We need to get them, but after all this is over...don't include me and my friends in whatever this is"

And then he turns around and leaves the room, letting out a stressed sigh, she runs a hand through her hair. Wondering if she did the wrong thing as she leaves the room and follows behind him. But then again, he was bound to know, he was a smart guy and going back to Dylan's old house would've been a dead giveaway.
