Maybe it was the fact that she almost got used to death that she didn't linger back for long and moved on quickly. Being a part of a hunter group, that's basically a group of assassins no matter their intention, she was bound to get used to death.

And so pulling her hand back from over his face, she pulls a cover to shield his face away from a world he's no longer a part of and it's pain before moving on with her life. Because that's the sad part about life, even when you're down, even when you're gone, life still goes on with or without you and that was something the blonde deeply understood.

And so she's moving out of the room and back into the main room of the lab, in such a rush that she leaves the redhead back alone with Parker, forgetting all about the green eyed boy that had suddenly showed up again. She sits back infront of a computer to continue with her search. Hacking into traffic cameras and even small businesses' cameras in search of Leona.

Because something about Andy's death was different to her, it hit different how much he reminded her of her nephew. She had a bad feeling and so she needed to move quickly before it was too late. Her eyes are moving rapidly, almost in a frantic manner, her fingers typing away as quickly as humanly possible.

After all, this could all be a trap. She's reminded of the last time the brunette left and they went after her and how that ended up. Ivana just couldn't afford any harm coming to the only living family she had left. And she knew he wouldn't sit back when it came to the brunette and so she had to find her quickly.

But time had already begun to dissolve into itself, as shapeless as the rain.

And maybe if she would've just moved a second earlier things would've ended differently...

.

Wiping her tears away quickly, the redhead turns to leave after the blonde, not wanting to be left behind alone with Parker. How could she trust someone that turned his back and left, someone that she was just beginning to trust yet told her he shouldn't be trusted? Looking at his face only rang his last words louder in her head.

"You like to believe that you're this bad guy. I even bet it's easier to push people away, hide behind this facade than to actually let people in...it's because you're afraid-"

"I'm not afraid of anything!"

She could still remember the fire in his eyes when he turned around quickly to meet her. And she could've sworn she had seen something behind his eyes that was in disbelief of how easily she's managed to read him. Just when he thought no one could understand him...

"You're afraid of people leaving, that's why you choose to leave first before they do"

He pinches his eyes closed, fighting the hurricane of thoughts inside his head. They never shut up when he desperately needs them to.

"You were lying in there...why?"

She remembers how vulnerable she felt as she stepped to stand closer, trying to desperately understand why she trusted him so much and in such a short period. Trying to understand if she was just stupid all this time and he'd been lying all long, yet another person that shouldn't be trusted but she ended up trusting.

"Some things are better left unsaid, Elora. And some people aren't worth saving"

Why was he back now? What was he even doing before he found Andy in the forest? These were all questions she desperately wanted answers to. But she knew she couldn't ask, because if she did, she feared he'd lie again and that last shard of trust she had left in him would disappear.
