"How...? How are you even...what?"

Her icy blue eyes disappear only for her normal brown ones to appear. And confusion replace the once look of rage in them.

"I have dreamt this moment a thousand times and all the scenarios I had could've never prepared me for  this...for seeing my little sister again"

Standing from off the white haired woman, who starts standing up with a smirk appearing on her lips, the brunette starts taking cautious steps towards her older sister.

"I saw the bullet go right through your head, Liz. No one should survive that..."

Her voice is barely above a whisper as the faint desperate scream of her own voice echo around her head.

"She's all I have, Andy!"

And the loud noise of the bullet being fired echoes loudly, like a horrible noise bouncing off the walls of the room and attacking her. She watched her sister die that night, she saw her fall to lie in her own pool of blood. The image of her wide open eyes haunted her every night for the past years.

"But I did, and you survived death too. You know about the cure, but you have no idea of its potential...how many it could really save "

"Wait...you're working with them? You've been alive all this time and you never thought of, I don't know, sending me a text, 'hey, sis, it's me, your older sister, how's life treating you? Oh, and by the way, I somehow survived a bullet to the head. Xoxo'. Were you ever even planning on letting me know?!"

"Of course, I was going to!" Liz cries out, her eyes pleading as they widen at her younger sister.

"My sister died that night...I don't trust you"

The brunette starts backing away from her older sister, but as she turns to leave, Liz's words brings her to a stop.

"I was just trying to protect you! "

Realising that her words had stopped the brunette from leaving, she continues.

"I didn't want you to get involved in this, being in that mental institution was the safest place for you. I get that it's hard to trust me, but all I've ever done and am still doing is for you, Leo "

"Vomit. I'll take this as my cue to leave"

It was only then that the Miller sisters realise that the white haired woman was still in the room with them. With one last smirk sent Leona's way, she leaves the room. Silence falls like a blanket over them after that.

"Both me and him did things we didn't want, but we had no other choice..."

Following the older sister's gaze, it lands on the boy lying unconscious on the ground. And then a feeling she couldn't quite pinpoint, washes over her. It was true that she hated him and just a couple days ago wanted nothing but to hurt him like he hurt her, but that was before finding out the truth. And that was that the green eyed boy had already been through much more suffering than she ever imagined.

"Why does that man want the cure so badly? Especially when it's obvious he must have some of his own, since he used it to bring you and Andy back to life? You said I can trust you...can I? "

The younger sister is pleading with her eyes for her older sister to tell the truth. To give her a reason to trust her again. She wanted nothing more than to run into her older sister's arms, hug her and just forget about everything happening around them. She just wanted a small taste of what it used to feel like back when things were normal. When her biggest pain, was losing her parents in a car accident.
