Lon'qu x Reader

Another request from NdragonEyes for our sword Boi. I know these are supposed to be fluff but eh. If you say fluff I'll probally just make it a family chapter like I've been doing.

You took your sword Andy seethed it, training subsiding for you. You were ready to her done with this blasted war. What was the purpose other than selfish desires?

 Every human was selfish, no matter what. Whatever motives they had selfish intentions, no matter how selfless one seems. If you want happiness for another person that is still selfish because you want them to be happy. If your eyes trying to fight for your family it's still selfish because you're ending lives of others with families of their own. No matter what you say, every human is selfish. 

Including you.

Why you fight? You fight because you were told to for the selfish reasons of someone else. Even if you were force deep to fight, it's because of someone else's selfish reasons. No matter what, very human is tied back to selfish reasons.

You hear a noise and turn around to see a brunette swordsman you knew well. He had only recently opened up to you with his genophonia and all. He was the only person who shared world views with you. He was the only person who understood the true meaning of following orders with no hesitation. The meaning of living to do another's bidding. Just like you.

"Lon'qu."

"(Your name)."

You both were a pair of few words. You let out a smile, Which was rare for you. He also let out a rare smile. Both of you had mutual respect for eachother. But that's wasn't the only mutual feeling between you two.

"Come to train?"

"Yes. Have you just finished?"

"Yes."

He nodded in understanding. You walked right to his side and stopped. Like those anime cliches we're you walk past someone only to stop at their direct side. This was that cliché anime moment.

"Don't tire yourself out. I don't like to spar later."

"Sounds like a plan."

You nodded Again and kept walking. He was the only ally who understood you, and you were severely grateful for that. You looked at the sword seethed in its scabbard resting on your belt. You placed a hand over it.

Lon'qu was one of the strongest soldiers in the Shepards. It was an honor to fight and train with him. He had more respect from you than your own general, for he could be horribly dense and clumsy. But you had orders. And orders were to get selfishly stronger.

And lon'qu Was the key to that goal.

Crap these are so short but I don't know what else to add! Also the song isnt related.
