GERARD'S POV

When we got back to the house I had to leave almost immediately for band rehearsal with the guys. I felt bad for leaving her but Hannah and Kaitlyn were coming over, so me and Mikey left to go to Jake's house. His father had a sound stage in the basement so it was perfect for us, also because Jake knew how to use the sound board.

We all got ready to rehearse. I was doing vocal warm ups. I always had to do them in private because the guys wouldn't leave me alone when I pulled on my tongue and went
"GEE HEE HEEEEEE" it really did work though. It felt like I had all this room in the back of my mouth.

After everyone was tuned and in the sound stage, Jake started the music for one of our songs 'Summertime'. Mikey and Frank were both beautifully in sink and ray was doing the background guitar. When time came I started singing, it was a twangish, gritty, hurt, and desperate voice. Frank started to do back up vocals and everything blended beautifully.

I loved our sound and the band's name and what it stood for. Everything about it. 'My Chemical Romance' everything is absolutely amazing about it. We might have gone on a bit of a hiatus, but that just meant that only the real fans were left around.

We sang a few more songs, like SCARECROW, and The Ghost Of You, and others of course. By the time we were done we were absolutely exhausted. We told the boys bye and went back home.

When we got there the girls were all laughing and watching some comedian. They looked like they'd had a good time... there was also beer bottles around the living room.
"So if you squint your eyes you can see Venus through the ceiling" Hannah said.
"Dude you can. It's like... bright" Kaitlyn said in response. They were staring at the lights in the ceiling. Jalyn came running from the bathroom.
"OMG guys I can't figure out the combination to my pants they won't open. I have to peeeeeee" she said squirming around. Kaitlyn unbuttoned her pants and Jalyn went running back into the bathroom.
"Sooo no school tomorrow for us" I said looking at Mikey.
"Solid. I'm getting a shower" he said going upstairs.

I cleaned up all of the bottles around the house. I drove Hannah and Kaitlyn home and put them into their beds. When I got back home Jalyn was on the couch and staring at the light.
"You really can see Venus" she said quietly. I picked her up off the couch. She was grabbing onto my shoulders for balance and I started to walk her upstairs.
"But my room is down" she said looking over her shoulder.
"You want to sleep in there?" I said looking at her. She looked back at me like a puppy dog.
"But you'll leave" she said sitting down on the stairs.
"It's up to you" I said squatting down in front of her. She just held her arms out towards me and closed her eyes. I picked her up and she wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist.

I walked the rest of the way up the stairs and into my room. I laid her down next to me and she curled up around me. It was safe.
