GERARD'S POV

The next morning I woke up with Jalyn in my arms. She was warm and content. I hated to wake her up, to make her go back to school, but I had to. We had to handle this together. I stroked her long brown and red hair out of her face.
"Jay?, come on baby wake up" she clenched her eyes shut and turned over to burrow her face into my chest.
"mmmmm no" she said.
"Well I can't help it, we have to... come on I got you up earlier so we could have fun getting ready" I said kissing the top of her head. She rolled over to get out of bed and I did the same.

Mikey came through the bedroom door.
"Hey I don't have to be at school early today, I'm riding with you guys" he said rubbing his eyes. He had obviously just woken up too.
"Okay sure. But don't try to rush us out the door okay?" I said in a 'have her home by nine' voice.
"Sure thing" he said walking away to his bathroom.

I put on one the band's songs. 'Destroya' and me and Jalyn danced into our clothes. I walked over to Jalyn after I put my eyeliner on and rolled my eyes into the back of my head to sing my favorite part of the song. It always made me laugh when I sang it on stage.
"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah, I'm sick down from the bones to the other side. Red-mob where insects hide" I practically screamed. She laughed and danced in the mirror as she did her hair and makeup.

She was wearing normal blue jeans and a crimson red 'Vans' sweatshirt and vans shoes to match. She threw on a 'Vans' flat lap snap back. It was backwards and her bangs came out of the bottom.
"You look like a sponsor" Mikey said scanning her outfit.
"That's the goal" she said giving a thumbs up. We grabbed out to-go coffee mugs and the three of us were out the door and on the way to school.

When we got to school she was surprisingly still happy. I had told Mikey what happened yesterday. Before we got out of the car I turned to look at Mikey.
"Tell the guys what happened. They are not to tell anyone else about it. Not like they have anyone else to tell. Tell them that's why I'm not talking to them this morning. I'm staying with Jalyn in case she's invaded by bitches." Jalyn turned to me and laughed.
"Totally. They'll understand" he said grabbing his bag and running inside. I held Jalyn's hand all the way into school and went with her to Hannah, Jake, and Kaitlyn.

They looked relieved when we walked up.
"Oh thank god you're okay" Hannah said grabbing her away from me into a hug.
"We were so fucking worried when Gerard told us" Kaitlyn said giving the next hug.
"I'm so sorry Jay. Those bitches deserve everything coming to them" Jake said in a sympathetic tone. Hannah hugged me and pulled me to the side.
"Thank you, for taking care of her. Thank you so much" she said gratefully.

When we thought we were safe the two wicked witches came walking up. Jalyn grabbed my hand and wrapped her arm around mine, adjusting her hat and almost hiding behind me.
"Well look who it is. I thought you were supposed to be gone. 'Emo fag'" they said quoting a prior statement.
"Caroline, back the fuck off. Just because you're self conscious and lonely doesn't mean you need to inflict it on Jalyn" I said standing in front of her.

Hannah was getting angry, and Kaitlyn stepped back.
"You don't ever talk bad about someone else or their music, and you sure as hell don't stereotype her into an 'emo fag', because if you were half the person she was you'd never say that" she said clenching her fists.
"I think god would be disappointed if he looked at you" Lacey said desperately searching for something to say.
"The hell he is" Hannah said. The two of them walked away finally.

It was time to go to first period. The smile was wiped off of her face almost completely, with no trace of happiness left. I wrapped her into a tight hug. I kissed her long on her head and she  buried her face into my jacket.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry people like them exist. I'm sorry the world can't be filled with people like you, I'm so terribly sorry" I said. I almost felt tears behind my eyes as I thought of her unhappiness.
"I just love you" she said in response.
"I love you too" I said pulling back and giving her one more kiss before sending her off to her first block.
