GERARD'S POV
I walked to the table at the restaurant. The four of them turned around wide eyed and shocked. Kaitlyn just looked disappointed. She knew what had happened.
"What the hell happened?" Hannah asked as Jalyn held a napkin to my bleeding mouth.
"That douchebag Steve happened. He was talking shit about Mikey and we got into it on the elevator" I said standing still on my crutches.
"I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean for this to happen I really thought he was different now" Kaitlyn said apologetically.
"It's fine. It's not your fault he's a jerk" Frank said speaking my mind as usual.
"Exactly. We're even. We have matching faces now. I got him good" I said leaning forward.
"Let's get out of here. We'll give you a ride to our house Kaitlyn. You guys want to come over?" Jalyn asked Frank and Hannah. Frankie and Hannah looked at each other and nodded.
"Sure!" Hannah said.
We all met back at the house. Mouse went nuts when we got back. He jumped off the couch where he was playing with Mikey and came to greet us.
"What happened to you" Mikey said standing up.
"Harrington." I said plainly.
"I KNEW IT!" Mikey said pointing into space.
Kaitlyn turned on the tv and Frank got an ice pack for me. Jalyn laid with me on the couch while Hannah and Frankie shared a blanket on the recliner. Mikey and Mouse sat on he floor and Kaitlyn leaned on Jalyn. We sat there for a while, then we turned on the Atari and played games. The swelling eventually went down and it didn't sting so bad. It hurt steady, but not badly. Man did it look bad though. It made me seem pretty badass, although I'm a marshmallow on the inside.
Me and Mikey played first, then we all challenged each other's high scores on Frogger. Of course Frank played the more gruesome games and I picked the alien spaceship games. Mikey normally picked frogger and the girls challenged each other's scores on Q-Bert until their thumbs hurt.
