Saturday morning came around and we were all still in dark mindset about our passed friend. Hannah, Kaitlyn, and I are going shopping for prom dresses... something Jake was supposed to do with us. Kaitlyn and Hannah came into the driveway to pick me up. "Bye Jay, send me pictures. Love you!" Gerard said waving to me as I left. "You're not allowed to see it until Prom" I said sassily. He merely smile and rolled his eyes. "I love you! Byyyeee" I said hopping into the car.
Hannah and Kaitlyn both turned around and smiled at me. "What are you hiding?" I said raising an eyebrow. "Kaitlyn got asked to prom!!" Hannah said excitedly. I looked to Kaitlyn who was grinning from ear to ear. "Brendon Wyatt, he stayed after school and when me and Hannah got out of color guard practice he had a path of compliments in chalk on the side walk, and when I turned the corner he had a prom poster!" She said with her cheeks turning red. "Omigod he's cute too, congratulations no longer single Pringle" I said smiling back at her.
We jammed out to Panic! At the Disco, and Waterparks until we arrived at Nordstrom. "Arrived" Siri said as Hannah turned off her directions in her phone. We walked inside and split up. Hannah went for the cute dresses with pockets, I headed for long dresses, and Kaitlyn went towards cupcake looking dresses. I picked out a few dresses, then headed to the costume section. I sneaked a shark costume into the pile and went to the dressing room where Kaitlyn was already trying things on. I put on the shark costume and ran out practically waddling. "IMMA SHAARRK" I yelled into their dressing rooms. They both opened the door and promptly fell on the floor laughing. "Whyyyy are you so weird" Kaitlyn said snorting from laughing so hard.
After trying on a few dresses I finally picked one out.

We sat and played games like TwistyRoad until finally Kaitlyn had found her dress.

I looked on my debit card online to see what was in it, my mom continued to add money to my account until three months after college. She wants to pay my tuition and keep me stable through college. I already told her I was doing an online program for William & Mary. It's my dream school but I'm not moving to VA to go to school. Hannah is going to Ohio State so she won't have to drive far, and Kaitlyn is going to a performing art school nearby. We all thought it'd be best to stay close to home. I signed up for advanced classes to finish within my second year and still have a well deserved degree in business.
We payed for our crazy priced dresses and headed for Panera.
We found a table near the window and ate as we discussed where we were going for dinner before prom and our after-prom at water country. As I sat and listened I thought about how awesome my group of friends are, even when I'm dressing up as a fucking shark, they'd dress up with me.
