JALYN'S POV

After we got to the house I put all my suitcases into my room. This is my new address I guess. I thought to myself. I started to put all of my Funkos on the shelves and I plugged in my turntable after sitting it on the desk. I sat my milk crate of albums on the floor next to the desk. I decided that posters could go up later when it wasn't just my short self putting them up low and crooked. I started to unpack some of my clothes. I left behind all of the clothes my parents had bought for me. Let's just say I don't wear pink and ruffles. So that left me with jeans, t-shirts, and some jackets. I put my bras and underwear in a drawer and hung my clothes.

Finally it was time for everyone to be at the house. I continued to unpack a few things before they were there. When they were, my heart was racing and my head was pounding. Maybe it was adrenaline but I'm sure it's anxiety. No Jay the last thing we need is for you to black out right now. I thought passive aggressively to myself.
"Hey... you ready. They're all out there waiting" Gee popped his head into the room.
"I guess now or never right?" I said ignoring my own head.

As we walked down the hall and to the 'Family Room' because living room wasn't fancy enough for the Way family. Everyone looked at me awaiting some sort of news.
"So what did you want to tell us?? Ray and Mikey asked in unison over FaceTime while sitting in their hotel room.
"Yea c'mon we're all anxious to hear" Kaitlyn said while shaking Hannah's knee.
"We'll fill Jake in when he's home. His connection was bad so he couldn't FaceTime" Hannah said grabbing Kaitlyn's hand.
I took a deep breath and thought. What if this is the last time we're all together like this? I shook those thoughts away before they could consume me.

GERARD'S POV

She looked flush. Like she couldn't handle what was coming. I grabbed her hand to signal that everything would be okay. She took another shaky breath.
"So for the past couple of weeks, Gee and I have been together a lot and I mean I guess it's evolved and everything. I-I don't want this to change anything between all of us because I -- we love you with all our hearts. So please just... open mind guys" she looked almost mortified. There was no color in her face and the emotion in her eyes was drained like water down a drain.
"Nothing that happens will change our outlook on your guys, we promise" Frankie put a hand on the one I wasn't holding. I spit out what she couldn't like it was water.
"We're dating. And now since she told her parents she was leaving she's staying here. For a while... hopefully a long while" I said scanning the emotions around the room.

"Awwwee" everyone said in unison. Jalyn's color came flooding back like a tidal wave and she smiled. Genuinely. My god was it perfect. Her friends proved her mind wrong.
"Honestly we kind of saw it coming. Y'all couldn't be more alike. Plus have you seen Gerard's googly eyes on you?!" Frank said.
"Haha true. My god all the time." Hannah said while laughing with Kaitlyn. Ray made a tapping noise on the camera.
"I'm happy for you big brother. You've only been talking about her since we left three years ago" he said exposing me.
Everyone laughed at him and I. This was the reaction we needed. Absolutely perfect.
