EXTENDED SUMMARY: Max Williams was a superstar at only thirteen, with his large role in a popular horror movie breaking him into the big screen when he was twelve. Now his name is on many young girls' lips, as he keeps a cool persona for press.
But when his parents decide it's time for some quiet and escape from the press, they travel as far as possible from Los Angeles- to the tiny town of Derry, Maine, where he catches a black haired boy TPing the house next door on his first night. Despite his parents' disapproval of the rough boy, Max takes to Richie Tozier like a fly to honey, and the two become inseperable, with Max starting to hang out with Richie's friends as soon as public school ends, and soon realizes he's living in the kind of horror story he's only acted in.
NOTES - Max doesn't realize that he's gay until he realizes he likes Richie. They must be SLOW BURN because Max has to come to terms with his sexuality & Richie does too

- He's really close with Bev which makes Bill and Richie jealous
- Bill and him don't get along that well, but Max always listens to Bill
- They should kiss at the end, but Max has to go back to LA and keep being closeted
- Derry's like completely away from press but a lot of girls his age go up to him and ask him for autographs
- It would be hilarious if Greta had a crush on him and when they were im the pharmacy she stops Max and starts flirting instead of leaving right away
- The epilogue could be Max writing Richie a letter from LA
- Max pulls fight moves he's learned for roles to help beat Pennywise's ass
