EXTENDED SUMMARY*
Derry, Maine was supposed to be a fresh start for Davey Armstrong and his family. A new beginning. A do-over. A chance to do his life over again. A chance to try (and fail) to forget about how much he royally destroyed his and his friend's lives when he pushed them to investigate Wayne Mackey. And for the first few months of living in Derry, it was exactly that. His parents had finally stopped walking on egg shells around him, he made some friends (OK, a lie. He made one friend and only because new kids had to stick together, right?) and he finally stopped looking over his shoulder every two seconds.

But then he just had to run into the self proclaimed Loser's Club and get him self caught up in another investigation, another summer— only this time it wasn't a real respected officer responsible for some missing kids. It was a fucking demon clown?
