EXTENDED SUMMARY Stan Uris knew Heidi Grant was too good for him. He had met the homeschooled girl on one of his birdwatching excursions out in the country, lying in a daisy meadow on a sunny afternoon.
The meadow became their place, their secret, and his heart raced every time they met. And when she joined the group of Losers for the summer, he fell even further.
NOTES - She's incredibly sweet but also strong and powerful and sarcastic?

-The two lay in the field side by side (Stan has to lie on top of a sweater or something) all throughout May & June and then when school ends she asks to hang out with him & his friends for the summer
- She's homeschooled because her family is friends with the Hanlons and they know she'll get bullied for being black
- Anyway Stan doesn't tell the Losers about her until he just randomly brings her to the Barrens
- Make it soft, cute and pure. Heidi doesn't die and it's not overly angsty
