TITLE: Drunk*
LOVE INTEREST: Bill Denbrough*
OC NAME: Savannah Smythe (pronounced s-my-th)
FACECLAIM: young!Kiernan Shipka*DESCRIPTION
❝You have a problem, Sav.❞
❝I have a problem? You guys are hallucinating a fucking cannibalist clown, for Christ's sake!❞EXTENDED SUMMARY
If there was one thing that ran in the Smythe family most, it was alcoholism. Savannah couldn't remember the last time she saw her mother without a beer in her hand, and wherever her good-for-nothing father (as her mom liked to call him) was, she was sure he had his fair share of passing out in unknown bars. It didn't hurt that her brother died in a drunken accident 5 years back, his body still floating somewhere in the canal where his car had ended up by the end of the night. So, at the ripe age of 11, it was no surprise when she picked up a half empty bottle of rum that she found underneath the couch. Simply mocking what she's been witnessing her entire life, and accepting an inevitable fate without even knowing it. But by the time she reaches 13, she spends the majority of her time sipping her mother's leftover liquor whenever she gets the chance, even in the most inappropriate situations. Like, for example, escaping from a killer demon clown.
And her sudden interest in stuttering Bill Denbrough* certainly doesn't help the situation.
NOTES:
- Savannah has apiphobia (fear of bees)- Her brother was 19 years old when he died but because they were pretty far apart age wise they were never that close
- At some point in the story, Pennywise recreates a scene that her father is living with a new family and is sober and has changed because she's always kinda been afraid of that
- She sees this when glancing in a random house window and doesn't see Pennywise because the real owner of the house comes outside and asks her if she's okay before he shows up, so she doesn't really believe in Pennywise until she sees him for the first time when they all go in the well house
