EXTENDED SUMMARY Stef Smith, the hotheaded opinionated girl of derry, maine, and the number one hater of the towns trashmouth, richie tozier.
she never had many friends, maybe a few if she kept her mouth shut and didn't spew out opinions and comments all the time. she didn't like having friends until she realized kids of derry maine started to go missing, and the losers club needed her help.
NOTES
- Stef hates her full name. she absolutely cannot stand it, she much rather would be called stef.
- she finds her name way too girly, and she HATES being girly.
- she's a very annoyed and opinionated young girl. always loves to speak her mind on issues, often blurts out her thoughts.
— she doesn't have many friends, most people cannot stand her. you can give her friends, but maybe one or twoat most!
- stef has slight anger issues when people irritate her. she is also highly badass and takes no one shit !
- stef and richie met in grades school, when richie first kissed her cheek due to a dare that bill gave him.
- ever since then, she absolutely cannot stand richie, she finds him annoying and disgusting in every possible way.
- do ! not ! make ! her ! soft ! for ! richie ! she ! hates ! him ! for ! most ! of ! the ! story !
- richie often calls stef by either her full first name or "copperhead"
- stef has a PTSD & horrible fear of small spaces. when she was little, she got bullied a lot, and got shoved into lockers on a weekly basis. ever since the bullying stopped, she's always been afraid of inclosed spaces.
- she is super good friends with beverly, they are both outcasted at school, so they get along quite well by bonding over having no friends. ( wow that sounded sad )
- when stef was leaving the library, ( same day as ben ) the bower gang takes her and shoves her in the trunk of henry's car.
- it then shows up by closing in the space of the trunk on stef, leaving her in a cramped space until they open the trunk and let her out. ( they could possibly let her out because she was banging her feet too loud on the trunk ? )
- she meets the losers when they all meet beverly, stef happened to tag along with beverly when going to the pharmacy.
- stef gets along with all the other losers quite well, except with richie!
- once she joins the group, she and richie have their annual bickerings, fighting about the dummest things. stef usually making statements about how richies comments are necessary, or needed.
- at the quarry, richie makes fun of her, and teases her. making her get very irritated and maybe her even pushing richie into the water.
— richie ! and ! stef ! chicken ! fight ! or ! splash ! fight ! please !
- when the kids are talking about seeing it, and richie makes the comment of "can only virgins see this stuff? is that why i'm not seeing it?" stef gets very irritated, and starts to yell at richie about how his comment is insensitive and rude.
- when richie and bill get into their big fight after the neiobolt house, surprisingly, stef is on richies side of the fight.
- soon after when beverly goes missing, she's the first one to know, not bill, but stef is the first one to see she's gone from her house.
- she tells the others about how she's missing, and even goes to tell richie. but he doesn't listen to her while he's playing video games. he doesn't notice her until she grabs him by his collar of his shirt and kisses him.
- when the kids are looking for it and beverly, in the tunnels, stef refuses to go down into the tunnels, she thinks they are too small .
- she soon starts to almost have a panic attack while down there because of the small space she has to move.
- they all try to calm her down, but can't, she ends of freaking out until they find their way to pennywises "lair".
- please don't make richie try to calm her down, and she immediately calms down. that's very unrealistic and unreasonable!
- lastly, after the blood oath, she and richie go off to the arcade.
- "so what are we copperhead?" "i don't know trashmouth, i don't know."
